Raveryn is not highly liked in Asosa. Raccoons are known to be thieves and trouble. But Raveryn was not always like this. The King and Queen of Raveryn had a relic said to belong to the gods. They were afraid of the item for it possessed great powers. They did not use it for evil, instead, they locked it away in the deepest chambers of the castle. Word eventually got out of the mysterious item they obtained. King Lionel's of the West sought out this power. He sent an army to infiltrate the kingdom.

Before long they had broken through the walls and began slaughtering innocent people. They made their way to the inside of the castle, murdering servants, knights, and any staff they came across. In an attempt to save their week-old baby, Bosko, the King and Queen sent Bosko floating down a channel of water that runs in their castle. The channel went through some tunnels that lead to the outside lake that surrounds the castle. Bosko was saved, but shortly after he was sent away his parents were murdered. King Lionel's army never found the relic.

It wasn't until about 15 hours after the massacre at Raveryn that some survivors slowly returned home. Streams of blood flowed down the alleys of Raveryn. Raccoons mourned over the loved ones they lost. A couple heard Bosko's cries. They took him out of the water and took him in as his own, but never telling him that he was found as a baby. Unfortunately, when Bosko began to grow older, Raveryn began to change.  The people grew bitter and mean. Without a King and Queen to guide them the kingdom fell to despair. Bosko's adoptive parents fell into drugs and alcoholism. He was malnourished and mistreated and ran away at the age of 12.
