Tony let out a sigh. It was clear they had their hands full with Thor’s little brother; that much they’d known as soon as Fury had called them all in to apprehend him. But when they arrived in Stuttgart Loki wasn’t alone. Even Fury had seemed confused when they returned with not one but two rogue Asgardians. So he turned his attention back to the god of thunder now that he’d explained more about Loki. “Okay, so Loki is a threat and planning something. But who is Grape Kool Aid? We were told Loki arrived alone. But now he’s got some girl helping him?”

Thor visibly tensed for a moment. “He...” He punctuated the pronoun, even if he wasn’t on the best of terms with his sibling-in-law he would still respect his preferences. “Is Sigyn. My brother’s spouse.” Thor explained, not missing the snickers and surprised looks. Despite everything his brother had done, it still pained him when other’s treated him like some kind of punch line.

“So scary spice is married?” Tony scoffed.

“Yes.” Thor answered, dismissively. He really did not want to get into that conversation and have to defend his criminal brother to a bunch of midgardians. “After we thought Loki dead, Sigyn disappeared from Asgard. Not even Heimdal could find him. We..” he swallowed. “had no choice but to assume he’d followed Loki off of the bridge. Which in hindsight is not completely inaccurate. Somehow my brother cheated death and Sigyn escaped without the use of the bifrost. It would seem he’s been hiding out under protective enchantments here on Midgard— Earth.”

Bruce raised a hand slightly, signally that he wished to speak. “So what kind of person is this Sigyn? There’s no record of him in the SHIELD system. Is he being used by Loki?”

It was Thor’s turn to scoff, recalling the conversation he’d had with Loki and Sigyn after abducting his brother from the plane. “No. Sigyn is known as the god of fidelity in your mythologies. He lives up to that title. He is loyal to Loki in every way.”

“But is he a threat?” Steve interjected. “Or should we just focus on taking Loki down and Sigyn will be no problem?”

“He is a threat.” Thor said firmly. “He is just as talented a sorcerer, if not more so, as my brother. They were both trained together as children but Sigyn furthered his training to work for our family. I’d suggest taking care of Sigyn first. As I said he’s fiercely loyal to Loki and I fear harming him in front of Sigyn will just incur a greater wrath from him. I know he looks small and fragile but he is more powerful than you could imagine. You’ve only seen a fraction of what he and Loki can do. Much less combining their power. Do not underestimate him.”

Everyone nodded, seeming to think over the new information on his fellow Asgardian. He knew he’d eventually have to relay this information to Fury and his agents but for now he only trusted the people in the room with the information. Even then he was still unsure. But they had a right to know what they were dealing with. He only wished he could make amends with his brother before it came to anything more drastic. And perhaps through Sigyn would be his best bet.
