LORE F.A.Q

What is the purpose of Diwamatas?

  1. Diwamatas are hell-bound demons imprisoned in hell either exiled by God or created by Erik Morningstar, in some cases; they are monstrous beings God has created and essentially abandoned, with Erik taking them under his crown to balance the Earth’s evil and good purposes.
  2. Diwamatas start as animalistic beings, without purpose, self-consciousness, or discipline. With Erik’s help, he distributes human souls for these beasts to consume and gradually; they turn into puppet-like humans.

Is there a pre-existing Diwamata hierarchy?

  1. Yes! Diwamatas follow the real-life counterpart which is the existing angel hierarchy by Pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite.
    • The first hierarchy is that of the order of Seraphim, Cherubim, and Thrones. The second hierarchy contains the orders of Dominations, Virtues, and Powers, and the third hierarchy holds the order of Archangels, Angel, and Principalities.
  2. High-ranking Diwamatas have the power to turn low-ranking Diwamatas back into their beast form on command, though in Erik’s conditions, they will require a one-time-use permit to be able to make this possible.

What is the salary of a Diwamata worker?

  1. While Diwamatas are hell-bound demons disguising as their human counterparts, they feed off of human souls; so their long-term mission in consuming human souls and gradually replacing the human species rewards them by making them more human-like with each human soul they consume. Likewise, if they consume animal souls, they turn more anthropomorphic and revert back to their original forms.
  2. Their system is tracked by name, each month, a Diwamata worker is crowned ‘Consumer of the Month’ which is determined by how many human souls a Diwamata has obtained within the month, alternatively, they are also determined by how vulnerable or pure the soul is.
    • Vulnerable/Pure souls are determined by a human’s good deed and lack of evil intention, or in some cases; weak-willed humans, common targets are mostly children, the elderly, mentally-ill humans, and pregnant women.

Do Diwamatas age?

  1. Diwamatas do not age, instead, whichever the age their first consumed soul was, they will adapt to that age and inherently some of the appearance that soul was born with.

What methods do Diwamatas use to capture their victim/consume a soul?

  1. The perks Diwamata has is that they can transfigure their physical form in either highly attractive women/men or create the illusion of what a human being is in desperate need of (i.e. riches, fame, companionship, etc.), they can also obtain a certain language the previous soul consumed had within their vocabulary for future uses.
    • The only setback this ability has is that illusions are illusions, while they may appear to be in possession of a certain thing, the physical form does not last well and will transfigure back into dust.

How can a Diwamata mark once they have finished the soul consumption?

  1. Diwamatas often pluck out the human beings eyeballs, either eating it or keeping it in a secluded container for it to be presented for counting.
