An enchanted castle. A 100 year old king surrounded by dar rumors... A young wannabe reporter's dream.

The lord over Rouver Hold, the stain of the region, has many strange rumors surrounding him. For example, the children say they saw him speaking to a ghost of an angel. Another say he was out at midnight, wandering the crop gardens with nothing but a candle; when he was called out to, he vanished from view in the blink of an eye.

But most interestingly, he seems to do strange rituals at night, ones no one in the kingdom had ever seen before.

How peculiar. Leave it to a super-reporter to get to the bottom of this.

The beloved "Lord of Rouver", Rover is anything but loved by the citizens just so lucky enough to be there. Not only are the taxes through the roof and everything in extreme poverty, but there are also rumors that the former 'loving prince' is not all he seems.

Rover leads his kingdom by fear through his mysterious nature. First, his enemies, when they go public, soon go missing without a trace. The newspaper that prints the words of those missing get nailed to the mauseleum door covered in blood. Second, bizarre rumors randomly circulate from the town about strange sights at the castle. It coould be anything from a mythical creature to something dearly wrong with the castle. The most disturbing of them all? The rumor that someone saw the king eating human flesh.

CAST

Chime

A journalist on a mission: to uncover, once and for all, the secrets hidden in Rouver Keep. It sounds easy, but it is anything but! Especially for a chimera investigator. The walls of Castle Rouver seem to keep everyone out, but it's as if Chime can feel some force taking extra care to exclude him... Mysterious.

Pyro

A self proclaimed master chef who has lived in and cooked in just about every major place in his home region, Pyro merely laughed at the invitation to cook for the king of Rouver Hold.
Upon arriving however, he learned the true task for which he was summoned to the castle that month. And he also learned that he was not leaving until it was completed.

Vio

An unbound spirit that wanders the Rouver Castle every once in a while. Attracted to Rover by its default instincts, they're on the brink of becoming friends. Maybe in another eternity or so they'll learn that they have almost identical tastes in clothing styles and love the same foods.

Rover

He is the son of Lord Rouver, for whom the castle is named after. He was raised by his mother for a short time, which, according to the rumors, is where he learned all of his dubious and mysterious ways.
His mother kept him locked away from the eyes of the kingdom for years; on his nineteenth birthday, he emerged and announced his mother's death. There was no funeral, and from then on he ruled as king in place of his also-suddenly-absent father.

SETTINGS

Rouver Keep/Castle Rouver

A castle build by Rover's great-grandfather. It was in its glory days under Rover's father, the magnificent King Rouver; he even renamed it after himself at the time.
Under Rover, however, the castle struggles to maintain its image with the absence of its king's presence in the kingdom.

Rouver Village

The once prosperous fishing village of Rouver Hold. It's only as strong as its leader, and his absence caused the city to quickly go into disarray.

The Fallen Crest Inn

An inn that gained popularity for the fall of the crest-shaped asteroid it was named after. It's far enough away from Rouver Keep to attract customers and people looking to stay a while, but close enough to be associated with "the dreadful Rouver King."
