I just wanted to let folks know again that there will likely be some delay for accepting and sorting submissions for the world over the next few weeks as I've just had top surgery! (I am literally typing this in the recovery ward, havent even left the bed yet, lmao)
I would like to ask for some paitence with your submissions as I prioritize my recovery. Thank you so much in advance 💙.

I just want to give you all a heads up that answers to submissions and join requests to the world will be delayed for the next week as I am currently away on vacation in the UK!
I do not currently have the ability to check the inbox multiple times a day as I usually would. BUT I will go through when I have the ability to do so! Your submissions may sit in the inbox for a while because of this, but I promise you're not being ignored!

Hello Folks!
Just a quick bulletin to remind our adopt sellers to make sure that both characters, and their images are able to be viewed.
It's no fun as a buyer to see a character you like and find nothing in their gallery or find out that you can't even get onto the profile!
We will begin going though and removing and denying adopts that do not have an accessible gallery.
We understand that many people do this to prevent character theft, so we ask that the very least thumbnails are available to be seen.

Hello everyone! We just wanted to let you all know that with the recent departure of a mod, we've lost a couple of our threads in the forums :(
I've remade our Help/Support thread and our Suggestions thread, but we may be missing threads in other places of our forums that we aren't aware of. If you are a forum regular and see that a thread you frequent is missing, please let me know so myself or another staff member can get those back up and running!
We're incredibly sorry for the inconvenience that this might have caused for some people!
Hello everyone!
We just wanted to give you all a heads up that some time in the next couple days (sometime after Monday the 7th) we will be doing a mass clearance of adopted and unlabelled adopts from the world. This is to help us better maintain the world and make sure that adopted characters are not offered on, and that both we and you know exactly what a seller is looking for on any unadopted characters.
While this is the first time we will be doing this. It will continue to be a monthly event in the first week or so of every month. We will put a bulletin out a couple days before to warn you all and give you time to check and make sure that all your adopts are labelled correctly and are where they need to be.
If your adopt(s) is removed during of these mass removals, you are welcome to resubmit them provided they meet our guidelines.

The list is not exhaustive (I only got through a few pages of forums, and there are hundreds). Please contact me or Surfs via DM if you'd like an addition.
Please review this information from the document, before you submit links to us:
“Active” means somebody has posted less than 6 months ago. I hope by linking these, it will increase interactivity, so people’s claims will be filled ^^! If a thread’s most recent post is 6 months or older, you can revive the thread with a comment (manual bump), and send the link to me (Thunder) or Surfs for addition.
Threads are primarily coming from the “Forum Games” section of ToyHouse forums. We will link threads from other places, if they include any of the following:
- Large volumes (2+ pages) of free characters, mass rehoming of characters, including individuals' clearouts
- Mystery trades & give-to-the-person-above (since these are fast paced, require minimal compromises, generally flow without much work on anybody’s part)
- Art games (draw or design for the person above)
At the moment, we will NOT link the following:
- Small volumes (1 page) of free characters
- Individuals’ art commissions
- Individuals’ seeking threads for trades (character & art) or commissions
- Forums unrelated to art or characters in their entirety
Threads basing quality on perceived art skill (ex anatomy, coloring and lining style, proportions, or use of shapes), will not be linked. Like, “high quality” threads based on perceived skill, and not art completion. Saying someone’s art is “low quality” when they thought it was nice is just rude. Threads basing quality on level of completion (amount of color or shading, amount of detail, image rasterization/fuzziness, art size/completion) will be linked. Threads excluding specific types of adopts as lq will be included (at the moment, only excluding dollmaker, picrew, or 2 color base fills).
I’d also like to mention that intentionally excluding art of which the lines look scratchy, shaky, or sketched (excluding construction lines) from games is ableist. Not everyone has the hand/arm stability to make lines look smooth.
If you’d like your game to be added or removed from this list, or notice any dead links/closed threads, please DM PastelThunder or Surfs on toyhouse.

Hello everyone, sorry for some mass declines on characters that were requested to be put on oc gallery. As you know, we have a rule that we would no longer be accepting characters with out a clear reason, therefore that's what the mod team has been doing, but we've noticed a problem: the reasons are not showing. Everyone who has added a reason to their character, we cannot see it.
So, meanwhile, what do we do about this?
If your character was declined by me, you've already recieved a DM with me requesting for you to resubmit, so you can do that and your character will be sent to Oc Gallery.
For those who are yet to submit, it is not obligatory to do it but it would save us a lot of trouble... add "ocg-(color initial)" to your characters bio, name or tags and after they are accepted into the world you can remove it.
Thank you a lot, I am very sorry for the inconvenience. For now I will report the bug to ToyHouse and it will hopefully get fixed.
