WHAT ARE LUMIMEIS?
Lumimeis are children of the sea- or at least used to be. Lumimei are genderless creatures who can shift from aquatic to land form, as well as switching from male to female to genderless whenever they want. In the eyes of the other creatures in Lupurus, they are quite small,but compared to us, they're just average.
TAIL
The tail is a required trait and a pretty important one too. The tail usually has a flame, unless it has the no flame mutation. Tails can be pretty short to quite big and can be any color and can have any pattern. Tails are usually bioluminescent when they're underwater and glow brighter under deep water.
EARS
Having this type of feathery ear is a requirement. There's usually a gemstone inside the ear, it's the same shape as the core. Most of the time, they have a ribbon attached to the ears.
RIBBONS
Ribbons are not a requirement, but it is a beauty standard for Lumimeis, so most Lumis have one.
ANTENNA
It is required for Lumis to have antennas. They have a fluffy base, but it isn't always visible due to hair covering it.
OTHER
All Lumimeis have a core in the neck area, they all also have webbed fingers and toes. When under deep water, they may grow a narwhal like horn, this isn't a requirement. Hip frills are technically a mutation, but it is very common among Lumis, so it is just an optional trait.
