First of all thank you for making a character for this group! I hope you enjoy your new kitsune's journey!

The rules on character creation are very loose but there are a few rules to follow to make sure they can enter the group without any problem! In the group you can aquire items to change the appearence of your character so do not fret if there is something you want to add but is not aplicable at the starting stage!

All staring kitsune have the appearence of a child around the age of 8-15, you can show a gradual growth as they get more expirence or you can keep them a certain way till their trials/when they grow up! Feel free to add as much or as little angst to their personality! Perhaps they formed with a permanent cold stare or a big cheeky grin.

All hair textures and skin tones are welcome here! Since they dont usually have any genetic perental bonds they can look however you want them too! Peircings are also avaliable for kitsune to have once you have had them for at least a month! Although please do not go too crazy until they are of older appearence! Kitsune's canines are also pointy and if wanted you could give your kitsune a snaggletooth!

Kitsune are allowed both digitigrade and plantigrade legs! Digitigrade legs can be covered in fur the same color as their hair/fox fire! Toe beans are also allowed!!

The prominent trait of kitsune are their ears and fluffy tails!

Ears

Any fox and canine shape is avalible for kitsune to have! Wether that be long floppy ears or shorter wider ears. They do hear with these so your kitsune cannot have any human or elf ears! The portion of the ear will do all the way down to where the ear usually would be shown on the image to the right! They must have fluffy interiors in some form either as little fluff balls in the ears or simple fur lines on the main part.

Tails

Tails have a maximum length of the kitsune's height! They can also be very short! The maximum and minimum can be seen to the right as well! Your kitsune will only start with one when they first form and can earn or grow more once their skills have increased. They can be very fluffy and kitsune who just form tend to use it as a blanket when sleeping. They commonly have a lighter or darker colored tip of the tail and a general painbrush shape

The color of the fox fire shows what color the kitsune can be! wether that be darker or lighter than the color on the flame!

Cans

Once you are given/buy a fox fire you can color pick the color of the flame and use any color in that hue! That means you cannot shift what color it is on the color wheel! This color will show on the tail, ears, hair, and any beauty or birth marks you want to add to your kitsune! This color also is connected to powers the kistune can specialize in later down the line as well! Although less common, eye colors can differentiate from the fire! They usually have a big contrast from the original hue.

Cants

The color of the fox fire does not effect skin color and unnatrual skin tones are not allowed for kitsune. You are NOT allowed to use any color that appears white, black, or grey on first glance! There will be ways to get kitsune with these colors however these are from events! If you want to use a darker color to be safe try to make it a more rich color without depleting its saturation! Kitsune's eyes both have to be the same color as well. If you need help or want to double check your kitsune feel free to join the discord for a second opinion!

Kitsune start out with either a jinbei or yukata once emerging but can change into more modern clothes via the travelling merchant!

Jinbei & Yukata

Jinbeis and yukatas are casual wear for most kitsune! they can be plain or patterened if you so choose! To get a general idea of how a yukata works "how to put on" videos are a very useful tool to see how it is constructed and folds! Their clothes are usually the color of the kitsune fire as well and match nicey with their ears and tail. They will often wear geta (wooden sandals) or simply be barefoot!

Donts

DO NOT FOLD THE FABRIC RIGHT OVER LEFT this is only for people in funerals and ghosts!!!! Please be respectful and double check your application before turning it in <3 for other accessories please keep them off for the original image! You are able to make a clothing ref after the base kitsune is approved! feel free to give them any trinkets or bobbles afterwards!
