Trait Cheat Sheet

"Please visit the Known Spirits page to learn more about Spirit's themselves and Ardour."

Note: 'Spirit' refers to any playable creature (Ardourian) or possible pet that offers a selection of traits to choose from during creation.

Horns (1 set) - The horn trait can be inspired by animals found in nature such as deer, or can be inspired by mythical creatures such as a unicorn. There is no limit to what size and shape a set of horns can take. They can be fused, chipped, and broken. Trait Limit - no more than 2 horns can be found on the Spirit's body.

Large/Unlimited Horns - Just like the 1 set, there is no limit to the size, shape, or design of these horns. However, you can now have as many horns as you wish! For example, you could have a pair of antlers accompanied by a unicorn's horn on a Spirit.

Small Halos - Small halos are what you would imagine a "classic" halo to be. Small and round and often floats on top of the head. However, halos can be placed anywhere on the Spirit's body, over its head, around an ankle, around a tail, etc. Small halos should stay small in size and not fit around a Spirit's entire body or midsection.

Large Halos - Large halos are just that, large! They can be of any shape or size as long as they're still vaguely oval. These halos could wrap around a Spirit's body or midsection.

Small Wings - Wings can be of any shape and take inspiration from any creature such as birds, bats, bugs, dragons, and more. Small wings should be small enough to where the Spirit couldn't feasibly fly with them alone. Small wings can allow Spirits to glide short distances, however.

Large Wings - Large wings are just like the small wings just, larger! With these wings, a Spirit can fly.

Wisp - Or spirit fire, are tiny flames that can float around a Spirit's body, attach to the body, or sometimes replace the body part of a Spirit itself. These flames can be of any color and shape and oftentimes glow.

Spines & Spikes - These are small sharp extrusions that may be placed on a Spirit's body. This trait should not mimic horns on top of the head.

Whiskers & Ribbons - This trait can add ribbon-like extrusions to your Spirit anywhere on its body.

Multiple Tails - Normally a Spirit is born with only one tail, however with this trait that tail could split into multiples! Multiple tails do not need to match each other, a Spirit can have a combination of tails.

Multiple Limbs - If a Spirit has the multiple limb trait, there is no limit to how many limbs they can have. These limbs also do not need to match.

Real/Extra Eyes - This trait will add more eyes to your Spirit, if used on a Hollow they can have eyes on their masks (not possible without this trait). Buttons, beads, paint, and other 'false' eyes don't count towards this trait.

Bioluminescence - Have parts of your Spirit glow! This can be used on patterns or even full body parts.

Chameleon - With the Chameleon trait your Spirit can change their color palette at will. Some examples of this could be changing colors during seasons, changing colors depending on the time of day, etc. Limited to no more than 4 color palettes. All possible colors should be shown on the Master List image.

Floating - With the floating trait a Spirit's body parts or other objects can float freely around the spirit. This trait cannot affect a Hollow's mask, the mask must always be attached to its face. This trait also cannot affect a Seeker's Auricordia as it must be attached to a body part.
