RANKS

RANKS

Villagers don't tend to have much power or authority when it comes to ranking. While respected for keeping the town going, the Knights are the ones others turn to in times of need. While anyone can become a Knight there are titles one must earn, and trial one must face to become a Knight.

HATCHLING

Anyone above the age of 16 can become a Hatchling. This involves training under Lumiose Village’s Battle Master. Students will learn how to defend themselves, learn about Pokémon and the dangers each one presents. Once they have done the basics they will also learn how to capture Pokémon. Once he gets to know you, and decides you’ve proven yourself in knowledge and skill, The Battle Master will take you into the wilds to catch your first Pokémon.

Once you’ve captured your first Pokémon and completed different exercises to bond with your Pokémon you become a Rookie.

ROOKIE

Rookies are permitted to leave the Village with any Knight, and are encouraged to if they wish to become a fully fledged knight themselves. Rookies will be expected to catch two more Pokémon, and train them to be able to battle against the Battle Master himself. Defeating the Battle Master grants a trainer the rank of Squire.

SQUIRE

Once a Rookie has proven their strength and skill against the Battle Master they earn the title of Squire. Squires will make their journey to each of the Clans as the last part of their trial. If they survive the journey and defeat each Clan Leader in battle they may challenge the Leader of Corviknight Castle.

In defeating him he grants the champion the title of Knight.

KNIGHT

An individual who earns the title of Knight is allowed to rest at the castle, gain access to the libraries and hidden information, and freely build a team of 6 Pokémon with no limitation on the pokemon’s strength. However if the trainer allows their Pokémon to go berserk and hurt someone there will be consequences.

While some fight for the title of Knight to get privileges, knowledge, and freedom, some use it as a way to ensure their safety while traveling the land.

In becoming a Knight the individual will be granted special armor. Donning these articles is the Knight's choice, and they don't need to wear armor in the styles offered.

However all Knights will be gifted a black short sword made from the steel feathers of the Corviknight Castle's champion to act as their badge.
