Some dungeons in the Pokemon World.
"Example tilesets" are meant to provide rough examples of what these dungeons might look like (but you're still free to make up your own scenery within reason, of course). They're from PMD RB & TDS, pulled from The Spriters Resource.
Recruitment Dungeons
Frozen Sea
water / ice
A field of sea ice in the ocean to the northwest. The top of the sea is frozen over, allowing Pokemon to walk across. This dungeon seems to change location every so often, drifting with the currents, causing many Pokemon from nearby areas to get unwittingly trapped in its depths.
Example tilesets: Mt. Freeze / Surrounded Sea
Misty Glen
normal / fairy
A woodland dungeon surrounded by gentle rolling hills. At night, mysterious glowing lights can be seen between the trees... Although small and relatively harmless, the pinkish fog that pervades the dungeon makes it easy to get separated from one's companions.
Example tilesets: Dusk Forest / Murky Forest
Secret Ruins
grass / ghost
An underground ruin that was left abandoned by mysterious ancient Pokemon. Vines and moss grow abundantly, covering the pillars and walls. Occasionally, a traveller will brush aside some leaves to find mysterious bones... Was it a mausoleum of some sort?
Example tilesets: Concealed Ruins
Mt. Twister
flying / dragon
A tall, craggy peak. There are strong winds year-round, and as it blows through the caves and rock formations, it whistles and howls. There are small villages hidden in rest stops along the climb, full of Dragon-type Pokemon too stubborn to leave their home even after it became a dungeon.
Example tilesets: Mt. Travail
Meteor Valley
psychic / steel
A long time ago, a hunk of metal fell from the sky into this arid valley. Rumours say it hides some great secret or treasure, and many explorers flock here to investigate - though all to no avail, at least so far. The special magnetic field here makes compasses go wild, making it easy to lose one's bearings.
Example tilesets: Meteor Cave / Thunderwave Cave
Thunder Plains
bug / electric
A grassland dungeon in a stormy area. Explorations here are difficult and slow; the grass is taller than most Pokemon, and those who fly above it are likely to be struck by lightning. Many Bug-type Pokemon, who are small enough to navigate between the grass, live near here for the protection it affords them.
Example tilesets: Lightning Field
Molten Cave
fire / rock
A twisty system of tunnels at the foot of a volcano, with grooves along the smooth glassy walls where lava used to flow. Between the sharp rocks, magma, and poisonous gases, the lower floors are a perilous challenge even for experienced exploration teams.
Example tilesets: Deep Boulder Quarry / Deep Dark Crater
Sticky Swamp
poison / ground
A freshwater swamp forest, where the ground is covered in gooey mud year-round. In the heart of the swamp grows wondrous berries and fruits, including rare ones found nowhere else... but unless you're an expert, it's a very bad idea to eat any of them.
Example tilesets: Poison Maze / Mystifying Forest
Grand Arena
dark / fighting
An underground dungeon with stone brick walls. It is near a village of Fighting-type Pokemon, whose residents have made it a rite of passage to train there. There's usually a Pokemon or two waiting at the end of the dungeon, ready to challenge explorers to a fight.
Example tilesets: Buried Relic / Steel Aegis Cave
