Despite lacking eyes, the Dawne have developed a keen sense of perception through other sensory mechanisms, as well as having sensors letting them see(they generally just don't have great sight), they are skilled at utilizing advanced auditory and olfactory sensors to navigate their environment.

They possess the ability to harness solar energy through built-in photosynthetic panels, which power their technological enhancements and sustain their metabolic processes. They have also integrated seamlessly into the ecosystem, utilizing their mechanical prowess to aid in the preservation and restoration of their natural habitat.
