TERMS OF SERVICE

Virusytes are a Closed Species meaning you cannot make one for free or without permission, and there are certain rules for owning one. All credit to the species belongs to ShadowKitty15.

//HOW TO OBTAIN

You can obtain an Virusyte from making your own (MYOs) or from staff made adopts. MYOs can be obtained through free MYO events or raffles. The Blackmarket also allows for purchase of Virusytes. MYO sots never expire.

//MYO APPROVALS

Before uploading your design to a slot, you MUST get them approved from the Virusytes account. You can do this by sending a DM, or getting them approved in the Approval forum. Please double check your design before getting them approved to make the process quick. Refer to back to the traits guide if needed. Please follow this format for approvals:

//PRE-MADE ADOPTS

Official designs can be purchased on the site, either by OTA's (offer to adopt), bids, or flat sale. Amounts and methods of payment depend on what the artists wish to price it at based on quality, effort, and traits. Only permanent artists and guest artists (through application) will be able to make and sell official Virusytes. All other creations are considered MYOs.

All payments will be done through Paypal
If you have claimed design, payment must be sent within 24 hours in order to keep it. If you have a conflict, please let the seller know as soon as possible to negotiate.
- If you do not pay after 24 hours, the design will go back up for auction/sale
Any transactions involving real-world currency will not be allowed with users under 16
- You may participate through OTAs, raffles, MYO events, and trades with other users.

All designs and prices must go through ShadowKitty15 before putting up an adoptable to ensure fairness.

//TRADES

MYO slots and designs are tradeable, but done at your own risk. Trades must be agreed on by both parties, and at least one party member must let Virustyes know who is the owner of the new design or slot after the trade has been completed.If you believed you've been scammed by someone, please let a member of our team know so we can try to do what we can to help.

//RULES & OWNERSHIP

When you have acquired a Virusyte either by purchase, adopting, trading, or from making your own, it is completely yours. Nobody else has the rights to use the character unless you have strictly given them permission. However, there are rules to owning them.

With a Virusyte, you can:
- Use them for personal use
  - Drawing/creating artwork
  - Roleplay
  - Comics
  - Plushies
  - Commissioning art from someone
  - Any other personal design use that is NOT sold to an audience
- Add them to the Virusytes world
- Sell or trade them (at your own risk)
  - You can only sell designs that have more or commissioned art than just the reference
  - You can also sell designs or slots if purchased for RLC
- Change their name, pronouns, or gender
- Create a backstory for them
- Change their design (see “Design Changes” first)
- Base them off of an OC or use the design in a different species
You cannot:
- Create pieces that contain illegal or harmful content
- Upsell MYO slots or designs
- Use MYOs to make or use as adopts
- Change the value if selling or trading
- Draw NSFW content for the public
  - We are a minor friendly zone! If you wish to draw NSFW content, please make sure to use proper precautions to keep minors safe. We do not allow NSFW content at all in our discord.

//DESIGN CHANGES

Design changes are allowed under certain circumstances. Most minor changes are allowed and do not need approval. You can not add or remove rarer traits without permission or purchase. When in doubt, always come to a mod or admin with questions about changing the design of your Virusyte.

//VOIDING

If you wish to void a slot or designed Virusyte, please make sure you let us know via the Virusytes_ML. If you wish to still keep the design but separate it from the species, we ask then you re-attach limbs, remove the corrupt eye, and change the parasite tail to distance from the species.

Official designs are not able to be voided!
