Rules and Guidlines

Section 1.1 - General Rules

  1. All members start with 4 free dog slots, more slots can be purchased with Kibble.
  2. Kibble is the national currency of the dogs, its used to purchase slots, breedings and other items used in the arpg. Kibble can be earned through art, writing and events! You can also trade Kibble with other players for Serenlight related items and commissions.
  3. All dogs must belong to an area/faction, though all are free to travel to and vist other locations
  4. Love conquers all! Your dogs can mate with whoever they want, even if they are from a different area. All dogs are free to breed too regardless of gender. You are also free to breed dogs with different partners, thought all breedings must consist of only 2 dogs (while poly ships are totally fine, for ease we wont be doing poly breedings for now)
  5. Breeding slots can be bought as MYO (make your own) with kibble or you can catch staff breedings for a price
  6. Official adopts made by staff will go up from time to time too! You do not need to purchase slots to aquire official adopts.

Section 1.2 - Design Rules

  1. All dogs should be based on real breeds of canine and use natural coat colours! However, unusual design elements are ok as long as they are still recogniseable as a real breed of dog (i.e, slightly unnatural coloured tints on coata , unusual design shapes likes stars/hearts etc.) You can make eye colour any unnatural shades of you wish
  2. Dogs can have small tufts of fur to resemble hair if you wish! This should still be within reason and beleivable (no long hair or updos or segmented to look like real hairstyles)
  3. You may make designs inspired by media as long as they still resemble true breeds of dogs. Please refrain from using copywrited symbols or languages in designs though.
  4. Mixed breeds are totally fine, just be sure to mention all breeds used in the registry form!
  5. You can use non-dog canines and influences in designs too if you wish (i.e wolf, coyote, dingo etc.)
  6. Feel free to add any accessories to your doggos! Same goes for scars and missing limbs.
  7. Feel free to add any accessories to your doggos! Same goes for scars and missing limbs.
  8. You can draw your doggos in all different shapes and sizes! We love to see all body types from big buff dobermans, to small plushy pomeranians. Size wise dogs should still be realistic in stature (i.e beagles shouldn't be the height of a great dane etc.) but slightly bigger/smaller heights than averages are ok!
  9. Please do not copy pther peoples designs. You are of course allowed to use the same breeds as each other and while some designs are bound to be similar due to this, we do not want carbon copies of other dogs!
  10. If you are unsure if your dog will pass or need some help, please dont be afraid to ask!
