Kematas and Kemata Builds

Kematas

Welcome and thank you for wanting to take part in our ARPG (Art Role Playing Game)! Let's get thr boring stuff out of the way first. Please read over our Rules and TOS, once that's done feel free to hop on in to the fun!

In an ARPG you are given a character, or in this case, a Kemata, and you level them up with art or writing pieces you submit. Digital, tradition or literature, and so much more, count as submissions to gain EXP (experience points) to level up your Kemata.

Kematas are a semi-open species!
What does this mean?

It means that anyone can make a common kem for free at any point! New or current members may make common kems any time they wish! Each player will also be allowed 2 uncommon kems for free every month, and any other rarities up til Blessed will be purchasable with Opals or can be purchased with cash when MYO slots do come available! Rarities over blessed will be cash MYO slots only.

The fandom freebie rule

Fan Made characters of already existing franchised characters to be made for free, regardless of rarity. But that design would not be able to be profited off of in any way. This is a free slot without the worry of copywrite infringment! Also Other builds will be doable for this type a well, so you'll be able to do dragons and so on but those slots will be purchased with only with opals and will be specifically named "Fan-based MYO slot" or "Fan-based upgrade token".

Though a lot of logging is done on the website, we suggest you make a tracker for your kemata! A tracker is a complete library of information for your Kemata, including a list of art/writing done for them, items they hold in their inventory, magics learned, skills acquired, and class skills learned. A tracker can be kept on ToyHou.se, Google Sheets, Tumblr, DeviantArt, or any website you feel comfortable using that the mods can access without trouble! It's good to hold a tracker for your kemata for the purpose of double checking logging, but it's completely optional.

Opals are the in game currency which you can exchange for goods at shops, or trade with other players. You can get more through doing activities or selling items you get from those activities!

If you don't have a Kemata to play with, or want to wait a bit before getting one, we have you covered! For the meantime, you can use the public Kemata, Launch! Even as a bonus with using Launch you can keep any items he obtain through any prompts or quests you depict him.

What is a kemata?

Kemata's are feline/canine-like animals with powerful inate magic! A special trait of kemata's is their oversized fox-like ears and their heart shaped nose! All basic kemata's have retractable claws, a base level of magic, and shapeshifting powers. They commonly have a split tail or dual tails, though there's some funky traits out there!

Kemata's also come in special builds, some blessed by the Gods themselves!

Short Homie Build

A Kemata that carries itself low to the ground due to their short, stubby legs. Their general height starts at 25cm with a maximum height of 75cm. They have big heads for their bodies, which makes them a bit clumsy!

Behemoth Build

A large and bulky Kemata. Their massive size allows for a muscular physique, and will usually have large horns along with long saber fangs. The starting height for these large beasts is 130cm, and the largest being 180cm. Their claws are sharp, thick, and generally do not retract.

Dragon Build

Dragon Kematas are thought to only be in legends. It was once speculated there were very few and far between due to their elusiveness. Unlike other Kemata subtypes, Dragon anatomy can vary greatly--their bodies can appear elongated and serpent-like; or bulky and massive like Behemoths. All dragon kems have the ability to fly, regardless if they have wings, and most have scales or a mane. Dragon kems distinctly have more hand-like paws with a short dewclaw on both front and hind paws.

Fae Build

Fae Kematas are small, magical creatures. Even at full size, they don't get much bigger than a standard kit! But don't be fooled, these Kemata's pack a punch! They're experts at accessing their magics, making their MG stat the highest of all the main builds!

Hybrids

Hybrids

Sometimes, in very very rare cases, a kemata will be born that draws elements from two builds. These kemata's will draw from the strongest of each build stats wise, and can come in a whole bunch of shapes and sizes. These kems are usually only made by head admins, with some rare exceptions.

Forms

These are alternate forms of a kemata, often connected to their previous incarnations. A kemata can have a normal form and a holy/were form. The new form can carry any traits and contain a multitude of power. This form can be activated during certain activites or hunts, and give them additional abilities.
Holy Form

A soul blessed by the power of Hyozan. The Holy form is a powerful form often with traits described as 'angelic' or 'god-like'.
