Shiftys are a subterranean species that have lived underground for the majority of their existence.

Shiftys are most known for their natural camouflaging techniques to lure in and confuse prey. One that every Shifty has is mimicry of a mouth, with an actual, large mouth, in another location on their body. They use this “real” mouth to swallow their prey whole. Some other forms of mimicry are eye spots/ “fake eyes” in other locations, as well as body parts that function as other parts (i.e. Body parts that look like ears but actually are used to spit poison).

Shiftys come in 3 different rarities: Common, Rare and Legendary. Common Shifties can be made by anyone, as well as sold by anyone! Rare Shifties can only be obtained by MYO tickets/adopts made with MYO or by approved artists. Legendary Shifties can only be made by approved artists.

Shifties are a semi-open species that were created in 2023 by Shiftysphynx. 

The goal of Shiftys is to allow to artistic freedom and to be able to play in the species!

Please make sure to read the rules and quick start guide before creating a Shifty. You don't NEED to submit your shifty to the toyhouse world, but you can if you'd like! Also, feel free to submit your adopts to the group so we can have a nice list of all the Shiftys that are currently available for sale.
