Warning

Failure to abide by these rules when it comes to the sale, creation, or participation in Shifties will result in your immediate blacklisting from the species. Reasons for blacklist is not public, if you want to know the reason please DM Shiftysphynx. These rules can be updated at any time and are effective the date of the change. Babies created before rule changes are encouraged to be updated to new rules, if applicable, but aren't required to do so.

Species Rules

1. Species is OPEN for creation as long as you do not create a RARE or LEGENDARY rarity Shifty! Legendary Shiftys are reserved for approved artists, RARE Shiftys are reserved for approved artists and MYOs.

2. No NSFW/smutt can be made with any of the babies made here. Anyone found to be making smutt will be blacklisted.

3. "Skinning" of popular characters from media:

This is ALLOWED as long as you still include required parts of species in design! Try and make it unique! Just know there may be someone out there with similar designs and you'll have to be okay with that. If I, or the leadership team, get messages about this you will be muted. Multiple messages to multiple team members will result in blacklist from the species.

4."Skinning" of personal characters you own or have permission to create:Is ALLOWED as long as you created it or have permission from the creator. In your character information, if its not your character, make sure to insert an image of the creator giving you permission. If you make a character without permission, you will be blacklisted.

5."Skinning" other people's personal characters without permissionIs never allowed.

6. Never claim that you created the species and always try and credit me as the creator of the species when possible!

7. Combination of this species with other original species is ONLY allowed if the other species allows combination in their rules/TOS. If they don’t mention anything in their rules/TOS I’ll need explicit permission from species creator that it’s okay.

8. The species DOES have a blacklist, but it does not stop those individuals from owning a Shifty. Being on the blacklist makes it so you can not own Shifty Designs made by the creator (shiftysphynx), buy Shiftys from other creators or designers, or to sell Shifty designs. The blacklisted individual can still create Shiftys for the blacklisted individual's personal use or own designs from before they were blacklisted (excluding designs by shiftysphynx).

9. You are allowed to make merchandise of characters you own or people commission you to make. You are not allowed to make merchandise based on official characters or using official Shifty Species images.

NEW 10. Characters made with free bases created by shiftysphynx cannot be sold, but can be traded and gifted. Other people's bases are up to their own discretion.

Blacklist

People on the blacklist are not allowed to: own Shifty Designs made by the creator (shiftysphynx), buy Shiftys from other creators or designers, or to sell Shifty designs. Please be aware of the blacklist before you sell your Shifty's to the following individuals:
