What about a place to just look at art? With sections sort of like toyhou.se's homepage with, like, character feed, random characters, and recently posted characters, but with art! It'd make finding artists u like the style of a bunch quicker an easier!
ability to upload multiple pictures at once..... that part ALWAYS annoyed me. that, and maybe the ability to tag individual art pieces, alongside getting a list of tags you've already made that you can add to the character with a click, rather than having to type out every single tag for every single character.
also, having a system where you can add/remove tags from characters en masse
