Gods

Last updated: March 19th, 2020

Long ago, the Creators decided they didn't want to reign over Siderea forever and instead wished to enjoy their creation. To allow this and maintain peace of mind, the Creators decided to find a worthy representative for each zodiac to ascend to the Cosmos (known as their Catasterism.) The 14 ascended Sidereans became known as the Siderean Gods, and it is their duty to watch over Siderea and protect it in the absence of the Creators.

Gods are granted a number of powers:

- All of the gods are immortal. They can be hurt, but they will regenerate from any wound or ailment at a greatly accelerated pace and it takes more effort to harm them in the first place.

- The elemental powers of a god are greatly enhanced, at least when it comes to their native element, although with how long they've had to hone their skills it's honestly unclear if that's straight-up a bonus of being a god. They do at the very least become immune to any ill effects their elements are associated with (Arietis doesn't mind being set on fire, Cancri can't drown, etc.)

- The gods can warp to and from the Cosmos at any time. They can't warp around on the Cosmos or Siderea proper, but they could for instance warp to the Cosmos and then warp to McFurry's from there if they don't feel like driving.

- The gods have something known as a [Divine Voice] (no affiliation with Orchid's weird plot brackets... or is there?!?!) which they can activate at any time. The Divine Voice allows their voice to be heard in the mind and arrests the attention of all who hear it. It can't control or influence people like a { Princess Voice } does, so note it's not that, but the overwhelming sensation of their voice on its own might influence one's decisions out of fear or awe. As such, they might still use it when trying to command someone to do something just to give it some extra oomph.

- The gods can elevate their vibe, which also helps attract attention, shows off their immense power level, and can be specifically targeted to melt the brains of lower beings. They don't generally do that, but they can! Their Divine Voice is automatically activated when they raise their vibe above a certain level, so they tend to go hand-in-hand. Sufficient vibe elevation will cause their aura to overwhelm the area, causing everything to white out until they lower their vibe again or exit the area. Something seems kind of familiar about that, doesn't it...?

- Gods can listen in on prayers directed toward them by entering a meditative state and just sorta turning prayer mode on. They have no obligation to fulfill prayers, but it's expected that they at least make some time to listen every day. The mechanics of prayer will be elaborated on later.

- Each god is also capable of granting their Blessing to lower beings. Blessings will be elaborated on later, but it leaved the Blessed with a Mark that glows when the blessing is being invoked.

- Finally, each god has a Celestial Weapon, forged out of prima materia(!) by Arietis during her trial and later granted to her new god colleagues as gifts. These weapons tend to be the cream of the crop. Forget gold or platinum or orichalcum or adamantium; prima materia is generally not a material people are able to get their hands on, much less craft into something, and it shows. The Celestial Weapons are easily some of the most devastating artifacts in Entirety... especially because they aren't linked specifically to their god. Needless to say, the gods try to keep them under lock and key.

Note that when it comes to prayers and blessings, the gods aren't restricted to just associating with their own zodiac. Different zodiacs pray to any given god, and any god can bless someone of any given species, including non-Sidereans entirely. The gods are often heavily associated with their own zodiac, but they're not restricted to them and vice versa.

The Gods

Here's a brief overview of the gods, mostly centered on what Sidereans know of them rather than an outright bio since, I mean, I'll have to make actual bios for them at some point:

Arietis.png
Name: Arietis
Pronouns: she/her
Species: Aries
Element: Fire
Modality: Cardinal
Title: God of War
Catasterism: Challenged the Great Fade and lost, but the Great Fade respected her spirit and also vast array of prima materia weaponry.

Said to be impulsive, aggressive, fiery, and spirited. Loves to tussle and spends her days smithing powerful weapons on Mount Olympus. Prayed to by warriors, blacksmiths, athletes, etc. for victory and strength. Used to hand out blessings to anyone who could best her in a competition, but Capricoris put a stop to that... mostly. Rumor has it there are plenty of people with Arietis' blessings out there even in modern day...

In charge of Siderea's offenses, ensuring Sidereans and the gods are prepared to meet any threat.

Mars, the Hammer of Glory allows the wielder to craft things out of anything, especially when combined with Vesta, the Anvil of Dawn. It also just works as a big-ass hammer that can flatten anything, too.

Tauri.png
Name: Tauri
Pronouns: she/her
Species: Taurus
Element: Earth
Modality: Fixed
Title: God of Bounty
Catasterism: May or may not have boned the Great Fade. What are you gonna do, kinkshame her? She's got an axe!

Said to be gentle, all-loving, and generous, but also stubborn and unforgiving when crossed. Prayed to by farmers and gardeners for bountiful and healthy harvests, but also commonly prayed to by businesspeople for financial success and stability. In charge of Siderea's wealth and stability, so when your crops turn out like shit it's thought that you did something to anger Tauri.

Venus, the Axe of Resolution is capable of cleaving through any material, including through things like fire, water, and magic.

Geminorum.png
Name: Geminorum
Pronouns: any but defaults to they/them
Species: Gemini
Element: Air
Modality: Mutable
Title: God of Mind
Catasterism: All of the contestants for the Gemini trial fused into one being, giving the Great Fade little choice but to ascend them.

A capricious god whose interpretations are many. They are at the very least known for their creativity and ingenuity, so they are often prayed to by artists and scholars. In charge of recon, serving as something of a messenger for the rest of the gods to let them know what's happening on Siderea. As such, it's thought that Geminorum walks among them - an easy task as they are an expert shapeshifter - instead of staying in the Cosmos. Their blessings pop up often in comparison with others, with Geminorum often blessing random people without even telling them.

Mercury, the Lance of Caprice shatters whatever it pierces into component parts based on the wielder's will. It could poof a human into neat piles of flesh, bones, blood, etc., or go even further and poof them into into neat piles of all of the elements that go into a human being. It could also go more abstract, however, and split a person into various versions of themself based on the various aspects of their personality. But it could also go more mundane, like piercing a machine to cause it to come apart, allowing it to be rebuilt or for the components to be used for something else without having to spend hours unscrewing things. It lacks any means of putting things back together, however, so wield with care!

Cancri.png
Name: Cancri
Pronouns: she/her
Species: Cancer
Element: Water
Modality: Cardinal
Title: God of Protection
Catasterism: Unintentionally killed by the Great Fade during the Cancerian trial and subsequently voted on by her surviving trial-goers for her sacrifice.

Said to be altruistic, selfless, caring, and brave, though also a bit moody and lacking in self-awareness. She is routinely prayed to for protection and is one of the most frequently-worshiped gods of them all, even among non-Cancerians. She is in charge of Siderea's defenses and patrols the Cosmos regularly, fending off the Great Cetan Invasion and making sure the barriers closing it off from the rest of Entirety are in place. Sightings of her are increasingly common these days as she descends to fight alongside Sidereans when corrupted Cetans make it past her.

Luna, the Shield of Immortality is immune to all harm, including from all of the other Celestial Weapons - even Venus, Sol, and Pluto. This is not limited to physical damage: someone hiding behind it would be safe from radiation, from the damage of force (like falling from a high place,) from toxins in the air, etc. It essentially creates a little bubble of absolute safety around the wielder, which can be extended to anyone the wielder is trying to defend if they so will it.

Leonis.png
Name: Leonis
Pronouns: he/him
Species: Leo
Element: Fire
Modality: Fixed
Title: God of Kings
Catasterism: Held the sickest party in all the land, uniting all species to celebrate the Creators.

Said to be bold, energetic, genial, and an incredible leader. Leonis is revered by leaders of all kinds, and he's especially popular among Leons and monarchs. This has made views of him somewhat controversial in modern times, though, as while Leonis himself is truly a good boy the people who worship him tend to be the kind of people who worship, like, Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk.

Leonis is sort of the leader of the gods, responsible for managing them and deciding what's best for Siderea, ensuring things don't get too unbalanced and society is treating everyone fairly. Reserves his blessing for only the greatest heroes and most righteous warriors, so a Leonis blessing is thought to be a Huge Deal and designates you as a big time chosen one.

Sol, the Claws of Supremacy are pretty much just a more portable Venus, able to cleave through anything.

Virginis.png
Name: Virginis
Pronouns: he/him
Species: Virgo
Element: Earth
Modality: Mutable
Title: God of Health
Catasterism: Impressed the Vast Glow with his gayness despite denying being a furry. It makes sense in context.

Said to be gentle and loving, but also highly strict and finicky. Known to be lovers with Leonis, which has led to close ties between Virgoans and Leons. Prayed to about as often as Cancri, but for good health instead of protection. Popular among gardeners as well, naturally. In charge of maintaining the Cosmos but also of promoting health and wellness. He's the kind of god who's supposed to step in during plagues, with any ignorance of one a sign that he believes Siderea deserves the suffering it has brought upon itself. Kinda metal for a little flower dude.

Ceres, the Scythe of Rebirth "reaps" things from what it strikes, with what is reaped dissipating into the background prima materia of Entirety or sublimated into the Greater Soulstream if it's soul-related. This has a number of positive uses, like reaping disease or pain, but obviously it holds immense destructive potential. It can reap memories, which could be good or bad but even on the good side is kind of an extreme solution. It can reap emotions, senses, opinions, powers, the soul from one's body... just about anything, really!

Librae.png
Name: Librae
Pronouns: she/her
Species: Libra
Element: Air
Modality: Cardinal
Title: God of Judgment
Catasterism: Ignored the trial to put a dying squirrel out of its misery and bury it, accidentally proving her worth as a death god.

Said to be frighteningly silent and utterly mysterious, as she's in charge of Siderea's afterlife. She is prayed to rather rarely, with most prayers being from those about to die asking for a good afterlife or doing so on someone else's behalf. Her weapon is tied directly to her duties, so might as well get right to that:

Haumea, the Sword of Judgment is a sword capable of passing through physical forms unharmed to touch their soul. This allows the wielder to destroy the soul - causing it to dissipate into the Greater Soulstream as with Cere - damage the soul (which has varying effects depending on the species and individual,) connect with the soul to get a sense of the soul's memories and feelings, or simply stun the person who's being stabbed. The wielder could even imitate a certain :3-faced sword with it if they allowed Haumea to "bleed" into their soul upon striking. Hmmmmm.

Haumea is utilized in the judgment of souls on Siderea, with Librae striking every new dead soul that enters her realm. She'll strike the soul with all of her might, and the soul's response determines their afterlife. If the soul shatters and dissipates, then that's that. If the soul splits into two it means the soul is too burdened with either sin or regret, and from there Librae must decide if it deserves punishment or pity. If the soul is unharmed, then Librae will analyze it further to determine whether the soul was destined to enter the Heavens or if it is meant to reincarnate.

Scorpius.png
Name: Scorpius
Pronouns: he/him
Species: Scorpio
Element: Water
Modality: Fixed
Title: God of Death
Catasterism: Told the Great Fade the whole god thing was a bunch of bologna and he didn't care about it, so he was made a god bc

Parents tell stories about Scorpius at night to scare their children into behaving. He's thought to be cruel, cold, and merciless, which... well, to be fair, it's not terribly far from the truth, but that's a story for another day. He's rarely prayed to, with most people praying to him being cultists offering sacrifices (which he doesn't care for,) and criminals asking for Evil Success (which he doesn't care for.) Based on his weapon, he's thought to be Siderea's panic button, unleashed upon Siderea when something absolutely must die.

Pluto, the Misericorde of Oblivion can pierce through any material and slip through any gap, but that's not its pancreatic claim to fame. What is pierced by it will dissipate, with the soul entering the Greater Soulstream and anything else dissolving into the background prima materia of the universe. For all intents and purposes Pluto erases things from existence, though not so thoroughly as to erase memories or time. That would be kind of a mess. Pluto can be "turned off" to stab normally or tuned more specifically: for instance, Scorpius could Pluto you in the pancreas and erase only your pancreas instead of you entirely. Nine out of ten doctors would not advise this (the other one is Doctor Chainsaw.)

Sagittaria.png
Name: Sagittaria
Pronouns: she/her
Species: Sagittarius
Element: Fire
Modality: Mutable
Title: God of Freedom
Catasterism: Showed off some mad skills, but the clincher is that she may or may not have beaten the Great Fade in a drinking contest. No one could really remember.

Said to be courageous, adventurous, surprisingly philosophical, and full of talent... though also reckless and a bit of a party animal. Sagittaria is one of the more popular gods, prayed to by everyone from hunters hoping for success, travelers praying for a safe journey, or partiers wanting the strength to go all night long. She's also well known for her tragic involvement in the Orion Incident, but that's another story for another day. Being in charge of safe travel and connecting Siderea together means she's said to spend her time on Siderea instead of the Cosmos helping those in need, and she even introduces herself outright, making sightings of her quite common.

Jupiter, the Bow of Fate adds prima materia to whatever arrow (or other object really but we'll say arrow) is used with it. Whatever is struck by the arrow will suffer some suspiciously familiar effects, with their existence becoming scrambled up and causing them to become "frozen." Less familiar, however, is if the arrow is removed then whoever was struck by it will return to normal. The longer the arrow was inside of them, the more time they may need to get back into top form. Once the arrow is removed it's back to just being a normal arrow, so jabbing someone with it won't do anything special aside from maybe get you arrested.

Capricoris.png
Name: Capricoris
Pronouns: she/her
Species: Capricorn
Element: Earth
Modality: Cardinal
Title: God of Order
Catasterism: Scolded the Great Fade for not taking the Catasterismi seriously enough, so the Great Fade hired her to keep her in line. It didn't really work.

Said to be steadfast, strong-willed, and reliable, although strict and overly resolute. She's prayed to by those in the legal field asking for her to guide their hands, and often to those in distress seeking to make a right decision. She's responsible for maintaining law and order in Siderea, but particularly among the gods. She's less focused on Siderea overall and more specifically keeping track of all of the gods and their actions to make sure they aren't exploiting the planet they're meant to protect.

Saturn, the Whip of Order is sort of a more controlled Jupiter. It can slash anything, sure, but its real deal is its ability to stun. Whatever is struck by it is implanted with prima materia, with the exact amount depending on the wielder's intent and the force of their strike. A small amount will just briefly stun someone, but continued whapping (or fewer but more aggressive whaps) bogs them down with more and more prima materia until they're in a bunsworded(tm) state. The person struck will slowly recover over time as the prima materia used begins to dissipate and reabsorb into Entirety's background, so it's useful for when you just need to temporarily get someone under control or out of commission.

Aquari.png
Name: Aquari
Pronouns: they/them
Species: Aquarius
Element: Air
Modality: Fixed
Title: God of Weather
Catasterism: Pretty much spent the entire month talking the Great Fade's ear off with juicy gossip, and what makes a better god than someone who's listening? capricoris squinting

The god of gossip. Aquari is said to be always listening, as they're in charge of Siderea's atmosphere. They're a known lover of eavesdropping, so it's common to warn people not to say anything they might not want repeated on the wind. They're prayed to mostly by sailors praying for a safe journey and people praying that the weather will be nice for their cook-out. They're said to be petty and as unpredictable as the wind, thought to be behind all sorts of ship sinkings and the like. The truth of the matter is that they're just tired of only getting blamed for the bad stuff, and those who actually acknowledge their efforts tend to get slapped with blessings.

Uranus, the Orb of Vision views from the perspective of prima materia, which considering how much prima materia just lingers in the background of everyday life essentially just means it's an orb of omniscience. It can be used to view anything from anywhere, like being some sort of invisible camera you can have go anywhere with a mere thought and then have perfect precise control over. Anyone who makes a joke about gazing into Uranus tends to get swept into a whirlpool.

Piscium.png
Name: Piscium
Pronouns: they/them
Species: Pisces
Element: Water
Modality: Mutable
Title: God of Dreams
Catasterism: While the other Pisceans focused on the trial, they managed to accidentally break into the Great Fade's subconscious under the impression it was in dire need. Not exactly an easy task.

In charge of the entire Dream Sea, Piscium is so present thanks to their dutiful that they're at times the only reason people still believe in the gods. They're known to be a ball of stress as they never stop working, insisting that they can't take a break because it would be too risky. Has a kind and gentle heart, though, and absolutely does crave a vacation. Prayed to pretty commonly for good dreams, and especially by Pisceans to bless their journies through the Dream Sea to engage in dreamwork.

Neptune, the Scepter of Ephemera is a big fancy reality-warping stick, taking advantage of the prima materia inherent to Entirety and within all things to bend it freely. It's essentially "a wizard did it" in physical form, allowing the user to just make things out of nowhere and cast spells with no logic or obedience to the laws of physics or reality in sight.

Serpentarius.png
Name: Serpentarius
Pronouns: they/them
Species: Ophiuchus
Element: Light
Modality: N/A
Title: God of Light
Catasterism: Meddled so often with the trials of others that the Great Fade thought they'd be a fun fit. Also, seniority.

Thought to be a bit meddling and scheming, but always with a positive end goal in mind. Essentially, they're said to be mischievous and crafty but ultimately trustworthy and a symbol of light. They're in charge of maintaining faith, performing miracles wherever they go. As such they are thought to hang around on Siderea, though mostly keeping themself hiddeen. They are primarily prayed to by healers and medical practitioners, but also the ill and those who have ill loved ones to pray for. It seems they pay the most attention to prayers out of everyone.

Makemake, the Staff of Absolution is the ultimate healing tool, as what it does isn't exactly healing. What it truly does is undo things, essentially being a localized form of time travel. It simply makes it so that the wound or illness or whatever else never happened in the first place, making it capable of healing things like scars and curses and prima materia damage. It can even revive the dead, pulling the applicable soul out of wherever it may have went, including utter oblivion... which can certainly have its consequences, and thus it isn't a weapon to be used lightly.

Note that it's not capable of outright time travel. It can only "rewind" on a localized, physical level, only able to affect objects and people rather than the wielder being able to simply rewind Entirety entirely. It's also limited in that it's only able to "heal," so the wielder can't take a perfectly healthy person and rewind their arm until the time it was broken in 5th grade or something. The wielder can, however, stop the process of healing and undo it or even pause it in a certain place, which is useful if the person you're healing betrays you mid-heal so you stop feeling like healing them, I guess? Or if for some reason you're using Makemake as a tool to learn medical skills you shouldn't need if you have Makemake? Or for torture...? Probably for torture.

Cetia.png
Name: Cetia
Pronouns: she/her
Species: Cetus
Element: Dark
Modality: N/A
Title: God of Depths
Catasterism: Steadfastly protected and served the High Star from the moment of her creation, so the Creators just let her stick around.

A somewhat controversial god due to her role in the Great Cetan Exodus, which has led to the thought that she's responsible for the Great Cetan Invasion. In modern times she's often thought to be a god out for vengeance, but older schools of thought have always painted her as supremely caring, curious, and eager to help others. She's in charge of the depths of Siderea, managing the deep sea and all other places the other gods struggle to reach, bring sure even the darkest depths are brought to light in Siderea's eyes. Prayers to her are rare nowadays and mostly by cults or other Cetans, but she was once popular among seafarers and the lost.

Eris, the Trident of Unmaking can function like Pluto, but it's used more in a temporary and more abstract sense. What Eris pierces becomes "undone." Think of the difference between them as opening a present. Pluto is when you just sort of rip into it. Eris is when you carefully peel the tape up and gently unfold it, allowing you to re-wrap it like nothing happened later. Pluto gets grounded for ruining the Christmas surprise and no one ever suspects Eris. What Eris does is unravel things: no information is permanently lost, and everything can be put back together again. However, the process can be imperfect, especially if the user is inexperienced or not concerned with consequences. Going back to that present analogy, for instance, in the process of opening it the tape might have not come off cleanly and in the process of re-wrapping you might not have wrapped it exactly the same. Eris can end up leaving gaps in things, be it physically or more abstractly, potentially creating weak points where there previously were none.

Eris is primarily used by Cetia to pierce through space, unraveling it to skip to the other side of vast swaths of nothingness as was done during the Great Cetan Exodus. As Arietis used it during her trial, it also frequently finds use in undoing the walls of Realities and other such boundaries. Whatever it "unravels" will end up being quite a showy sight, usually involving the pierced thing very literally unraveling into ribbons of the substance in question and winding back up when the wielder sees fit. The wielder could of course decide not to see fit, which even if it's something that could be physically fixed - like winding a peeled apple skin back on - probably won't end up being the same.

Prayer

The gods are expected to listen to prayers, and Sidereans have a set of times they believe the gods are most likely to be listening. Because of this, the gods try to revolve their schedule around these times, split into increments of 96 minutes (roughly an hour and a half.) This causes there to be a "dead hour," in which it's considered disrespectful to pray as it's time for the gods to rest.

Arietis - 12:00 PM to 1:36 PM
Tauri - 1:37 PM to 3:13 PM
Geminorum - 3:14 PM to 4:50 PM
Cancri - 4:51 PM to 6:27 PM
Leonis - 6:28 PM to 8:04 PM
Virginis - 8:05 PM to 9:41 PM
Librae - 9:42 PM to 11:18 PM
Scorpius - 11:19 PM to 12:55 AM
Sagittaria - 12:56 AM to 2:32 AM
Capricoris - 2:33 AM to 4:09 AM
Aquari - 4:10 AM to 5:46 AM
Piscium - 5:47 AM to 7:23 AM
Serpentarius - 7:24 AM to 9:00 AM
Cetia - 9:01 AM to 10:37 AM
Dead Hour - 10:38 AM to 12:00 PM which is more than 96 minutes wtf. oh well it's dead hour babey!! not even close to an hour!! maybe i'll call it something cooler like... "The Godless Time" or something. metal.

This might end up changing in the future bc maybe it would be better for the dead hour to be late at night and some gods would make sense to be at different times so might make sense to scatter them around instead of being in order but eh, this works well enough. I was gonna base it off the the zodiac's associated hour but apparently that's only a thing in the Chinese zodiac.

Either way, important battles and other events often end up scheduled around these hours, with some seeking to launch attacks at noon so that Arietis will hear their victory cries or sailors setting out early in the morning to ask for Aquari's blessing.

As mentioned before, the gods can ignore prayers, though if a large number of people are praying at them for something in particular it'll keep poking at the back of their minds until they zone out to listen. This helps Sidereans out during off-hours; if a Cetan crashed during Piscium hours, for instance... well Cancri would probably notice anyway bc that's her job, but everyone's prayers for help would get through to her if she somehow wasn't paying attention.

Gods have the ability to answer prayers, becoming able to do things beyond their means if the prayer is strong and/or plentiful enough and if the god truly desires to grant it. If you pray for an Xbox so you can play Uno, for instance, the god in question will be granted with the knowledge of wtf an Xbox is and where to get one. If you get all your friends to pray to a specific god in tandem for an Xbox, then the god will become capable of just materializing an Xbox out of nowhere for you.

The example is silly, but it's important to bear in mind. If prayer is organized properly and the god is on your side, that god will become capable of potentially limitless reality-warping. When this sort of moment comes to pass, the god's vibe will often begin to elevate on its own as they radiate with raw godly power. It's very anime.

Blessings
blessingsguide.png
(beautiful i know)

Gods can choose to bless a lower being (note this: they can't bless someone more powerful than them like a Creator, nor can they bless each other,) which is seen as a great honor and is done sparingly. Blessings were once much more common, handed out like candy to religious leaders and famous warriors, but as the gods have stepped back to let Siderea handle itself and faith has dropped it's become a rare practice.

A blessing forms a connection to the god in question, allowing the Blessed VIP access to their prayer line and allowing the god to communicate through the Blessed. The Blessed also becomes imbued with great power, either gaining mastery over their zodiac's element or developing a strength in an off-element if blessed by a god not of their element. They develop specialties with their magic that match the respective god's talents and may gain skills even beyond that.

Being granted a blessing gives one a Divine Mark. Divine Marks appear in a different place on the body depending on the god they're tied to. They are typically invisible or very faint, but will begin to glow when the Blessed is invoking the power of their god or being inhabited by their spirit. Focusing on the area where their mark is is said by the Blessed to help them focus on their energy and draw it out more effectively, but damaging or severing the area does nothing to eliminate or lessen the blessing. It's not entirely corporeal, so it can't just be rubbed or scratched out and will only vanish if the god revokes their blessing (rare) or if the area is cut off entirely (and even then the mark may reappear elsewhere on their body later.)

20px-Aries.svg.png The Mark of Arietis glows red and appears somewhere on the head, most typically on the forehead. If applicable, it may appear on a horn.

The Blessing of Arietis confers upon the Blessed mastery over fire. They will excel in smithing, having excellent control over temperature and melting and being able to withstand hotter temperatures. It's said to make one more bold and creative.

20px-Taurus.svg.png The Mark of Tauri glows green and appears somewhere on the neck.

The Blessing of Tauri confers upon the Blessed mastery over earth. They will excel in connecting with the earth, able to understand the feelings and sometimes direct thoughts of plants and animals. It's said to make one more nurturing and patient.

20px-Gemini.svg.png The Mark of Geminorum glows orange and appears somewhere on a shoulder, arm, or hand.

The Blessing of Geminorum confers upon the Blessed mastery over air. They will gain competence in illusion and shapeshifting magics, though shapeshifting is limited for most species unless they passionately train in it. It's said to make one more clever and emotionally intelligent.

20px-Cancer.svg.png The Mark of Cancri glows silver and appears somewhere on the chest or ribcage. Crab tiddy!!

The Blessing of Cancri confers upon the Blessed mastery over air. They will gain expertise in ice magic and will become sturdier overall. It's said to make one more conscious and strategic.

20px-Leo.svg.png The Mark of Leonis glows gold and appears on the upper back, typically along the spinal column. If applicable, it may appear on a wing.

The Blessing of Leonis confers upon the Blessed mastery over fire. They will understand how to fully harness the powers of the sun and develop something of a pseudo-princess voice. It's said to make one more brave and charismatic.

20px-Virgo.svg.png The Mark of Virginis glows brown and appears on the stomach or... I can't really find a term for the part between your chest and your stomach. Like sternum still seems to be firmly in the chest? But idk there okay.

The Blessing of Virginis confers upon the Blessed mastery over earth. They will gain expertise in controlling and communicating with fungi and plant life, developing immunities to their toxins. It's said to make one more organized and diligent.

20px-Libra.svg.png The Mark of Librae glows pink and appears on the lower back or the buns. If applicable, it may appear on a tail.

The Blessing of Librae confers upon the Blessed mastery over air. They will gain expertise in telekinesis and be able to easily sense and read soul energy. It's said to make one more open-minded and balanced.

20px-Scorpio.svg.png The Mark of Scorpius glows maroon and appears in the pelvic region. It is entirely plausible that you will get the Mark of Scorpius on your dick. Do not point this out to him unless you desire a Pluto to the pancreas.

The Blessing of Scorpius confers the Blessed mastery over water. They will gain expertise over poisons and toxins, as well as gaining immunities to them. It's said to make one more intelligent and passionate.

20px-Sagittarius.svg.png The Mark of Sagittaria glows purple and appears on the hip or thigh.

The Blessing of Sagittaria confers the Blessed mastery over fire. They develop excellent vision, aim, and understanding of how to hone and focus magical energy. And supposedly a stronger liver. It's said to make one more adventurous and better at problem-solving.

20px-Capricorn.svg.png The Mark of Capricoris glows teal and appears on a calf or knee. For Pisceans, Ophiuchi, and Cetans on their non-legged forms it may appear near the middle of their tail.
