Lusterpups are small, canine creatures that are known for their star and pixel-based diet. They are always born with a crystal face that resembles a mask. However, their crystal faces are actually faces, and are not masks. They are popular as pets throughout Urd, but wild variants are known to exist.
Lore
Lusterpups are notably playful and frisky, and their behaviour is akin to that of a dog. They can be trained to do a variety of tricks, such as playing dead or sitting. Most lusterpups are smart and intelligent, as they can use tools like humans. It is said that a lusterpup was found using a rock to break a pixel apart.
Their main diet consist of stars or pixels, but because pixels tend to have a hard shell, they may use an object to break its shell. However, they are also known to eat a variety of other foods, such as meat and leaves. Wild variants tend to stick with eating pixels or meat, while Domesticated ones can eat stars and most food.
Lusterpups are commonly found across Urd; ranging from forests to mountains. However, they are also found in urban and rural areas.
Wild lusterpups build their homes with crystals, mud, and stone. To protect their young, the parents dig up a hole, so that they won't be seen. Domesticated variants only need a pet bed that's suitable for them.
Young lusterpups are called "Lustercubs", and are born precocial. A typical lustercub comes out of crystal cocoons created by a female lusterpup. In 6 months, lustercubs become their adult selves (lusterpups), and they can live up to 10-15 years in the wild, and 30 years when domesticated.
Both real dogs and lusterpups coexist in the world of Urd, but the latter appears to be more common.
It is believed that Lusterpups have been around much longer than the four races, as they were the first to be created by Murienet, the goddess of life.
Appearance
Lusterpups have a crystal face, an abdomen that functions like a tail, big pointed ears, and short, stubby feet that is either rounded or pointed. Their body is always covered in fur, so that they can protect themselves from the cold. The shape of their crystal face and body is mostly varied; a lusterpup's crystal face is always geometrical, and it can be in any geometric shape. A lusterpup can also appear to be either round, long, dog-like, or anything. They are also seen with unnatural traits, such as wings, horns, and halos, although they're not limited to these traits only.
The face of a lusterpup is mostly varied; they can have either no eyes, a single eye, two eyes, or multiple ones. Lusterpup mouths are also varied; they can be jagged, smoothed, or wiggly, and they can also be seen with fangs.
While lusterpups normally have black fur, their fur can be of any colour as well.

They're technically an open species, so go ahead, but please be aware that The Laughing Sashimi (The project where lusterpups are present in) is my personal project, and therefore you may not make adopts for profit unless you let me know beforehand. However, you are free to make lusterpup freebies (i.e. Raffles, WTAs, DTAs, etc.), or trade existing ones. Any lusterpup that is not made by Historia/Historia-KQ, myself, do not exist in TLS canon, as only canon lusterpups are allowed. I may potentially make adopts for these, but these adopts won't be part of TLS canon at all.
Also, I STRICTLY PROHIBIT any (Or, to a greater extent, all) NSFW/Racist/Anti-LGBT+/p*d*ph*llic/z**ph*llic/any other offensive or hate content being produced with lusterpups involved. This includes art, personal stories, and other forms of medium.
However, I do not prohibit PG-13 violence being involved with lusterpups, as long as the violent themes are not too excessive.
