Welcome to the town of Furngully. A small town in the pokemon world located on the sides of a large gully with a large stream running through its center.
Throughout the Pokemon world there are places known as Time and Space Gates. These Gates are huge arches sitting on short foundations with a small podium and hieroglyphic like writing on a set of buttons on the podium. Using these buttons a portal can open beneath the arch leading into dungeons in the space between the Pokemon World and the Distortion World. It is said these arches were made by the creation trio.
Most Poketowns that form near these gates have some form of Dungeoneer's Guild. These guilds are pretty much the same as Explorers guilds but are well known for operating near Time and Space Gates. These guilds have teams within them who explore the dungeons the gates lead to and serve to protect the local town and its inhabitants, as well as gathering materials from these dungeons, chasing down criminals who hide in them, and simply growing once strength through battling the Distortion Pokemon within.
