• the Flur

The flur are family oriented, with large and tight knit families that will follow their herd.

A flur relies on mukintog to carry them, transport their belongings, and to guard their campsites.

Flur have wide, flat feet with 3 tees that are made for traveling over snow, wich they will wrap in light strips of leather.

Flur have thick wiry hair, wich they decorate with clay beads, metal bands, and leather strips. They like to braid their hair, but will also sometimes do other hairstyles. The longer the hair, the more beutiful the Flur. Not only is hair a symboled if beuty, but it is also a flurs honor and respect. A Flur with no hair is no longer considered a Flur, since they would have had to do something unforgivale to lose it. (Something like stealing a herd, murder, rape, etc)

Flur use beads and hair accessories to let others know certain things at a glance. You can normally tell what a flurs relationship status, family, and age is by looking at their hair.

Flur will give their herds and mukintog accessories and braids so others know who a her belongs to. It is considered a taboo to steal another’s herd, and if a flurs herd is stolen then they have the right to burn the thieves scalp. (Wich means that the thief will no longer be able to grow hair, marking them as an unforgivable)

A Flur has black marking around their eyes, arms, legs, and spines. The shape of the marking vary, and can occasionally be somewhere else, but these are the most common areas.

Flur live in mountainous areas, where it snows a lot. They have thick skin that keep the cold out, and will wrap themselves in sheep pelts. Mutintog pelts are used to keep babies warm as well, since mutintog have thick fur and thicker skin. (The skin is gathered from mutintog that have had to be put down due to bad behavior, or died of old age)

It is Tradition for Flur to be given a Mutintog pup at birth, and are raised alongside their mutintog. Because of this, Flur have strong connection with their mounts, and it is very painful for a Flur and their mutintog to be separated.

Flur have large herds if cattle, sheep, or goats. (Occasionally a mix of all three) a families hi our and status is reliant On how well they take care of their herd and how large it is. The bigger the herd the better.

Flur families are typically made up of 12-16 people. Flur are born with a marking on their back, in between their shoulder blades, that should perfectly match their other half. (Or, soulmate.) it is the most common for a flurs relationship with their half to be romantic, but occasionally there are platonic halves.
