In a futuristic world, cities are as big as countries and live within weather controlled domes.
Everything outside the domes are barren desert. Companies control the politics, and the richer the company, the more influence they have.
One such company, in the city of Aureapolis, have specialized in creating “Pets”.
Pets are synthetically made human-like individuals, whose only purpose is to serve their master.
They are often decorated with animalistic or mythical features to make them seem more pleasing to the eye.
These decorations, however, are often useless and serve no function other than making the Pet stand out.
Pets have become such a norm in Aureapolis, that they have completely filled the purpose of any “normal animal pet”.
Different breeds are created or bred and all have different value depending on the breed.
Not everyone believes that Pets should be treated as if they weren’t even human. Many consider Pets to be as human as anyone.
Underneath  the shiny gold plated Aureapolis lies the old city. Covered with a  thick lid of concrete lies what is now known as the “Underground”.
While inhabited by few, many that seek to liberate Pets have taken hold there and give escaped Pets a refuge.
It  wouldn’t take many years before the Pets decided how THEY wanted  Underground to run, and many violent gangs started to form...
