Tetra Spectrum is a semi-original world owned by myself (WingsThePhoenix), NeonRacoon and rockythebunny13. It was originally based off of Splatoon 1 and 2, and still holds some connections to it. As the story evolved into bigger, I (Wings) have made the decision to draw my own characters as humans to further separate them from their source, because honestly it's what they deserve.
This world is NOT OPEN to join requests. It exists only for organizational purposes.

I'm going to be honest: Tetra Spectrum, for me, is what I consider my hardest story to explain. It's got four different dimensions all separate from each other, and not all of them are in the story at once. To read specific outlines and stories about certain events in the plot that are referred to in the character bio, please refer to this folder here. It's better than trying to explain everything and going on for 45 minutes. (Yes, that actually happened. No, I'm not sorry.)

The main basis of Tetra Spectrum is its four dimensions. It's the easiest place to start when trying to explain it all, because depending on what universe you're talking about, you could be talking about a completely different set of characters. As previously stated, all of them are separate from each other, so I'll be giving brief descriptions of them in here so you can get a basic idea of what's going on.
Of important note, the Sleepers are part of this universe's plotline, so their backstory is also somewhat important if you want to understand the story of Tetra Spectrum. I'll also be noting down who's Agent 3 in whichever universe, as that's a quick and easy way to remember who's who in which dimension (barring Lucidverse and The Badlands, of course).

The four primary dimensions of Tetra Spectrum, in order of creation, are as follows: Originverse, Heroverse, Hopeverse and Lucidverse. There is also one pocket dimension tied to Hopeverse known as The Badlands.

Variable, one of the two remaining Sleepers, is a character that can traverse all three primary dimensions prior to the events of Lucidverse. After this, she only exists in Hopeverse, but can access Lucidverse through dreams. 

ORIGINVERSE: The first dimension. Rockelle Shifuroa is their Agent 3 and the third Squid Sister. The "control" when it comes to the dimensions. Coral is Rocky's best friend, and the first person she meets when she moves to the city, but she's also verbally (and rarely physically) harassed by Callie, Marie and Sora. After the events of Lucidverse, this dimension is reset, everyone's memories are wiped, and Silas is created while Sora is sent to The Badlands by Hero!Rocky. Azura is also created as an alternate of Galileo Windsong, but chooses to remain in hiding until Sora returns from The Badlands. Origin!Coral, Origin!Reef and Origin!Callie were exempt from this reset, as they reside(d) in Lucidverse at the time of the reset.

HEROVERSE: The second dimension. Nerida Kailani is their Agent 3 and the third Squid Sister. Exactly the same as Originverse, except the roles of Rocky and Coral have been switched. First accessed by Origin!Coral via dreaming, and then accessed by Variable in the same dream after hearing Coral's cry for help. After Coral wakes up the first time, Vari follows her back into Originverse and eventually, later on, gains a physical form after saving Origin!Sora's life. Origin!Coral visits this dimension a few more times later in the story, forming close bonds with Hero!Rocky and Hero!Sora in the process. Hero!Rocky eventually discovers Lucidverse and becomes its first resident as an astral body. After the events of Lucidverse, this dimension is reset. Hero!Rocky is exempt from this reset, as she resides in Lucidverse.

HOPEVERSE: The third dimension. Karui is their Agent 3. Created as a second chance for Coral by Hero!Rocky after seeing and knowing what she and Origin!Coral went through so that she (or a version of her, anyway) exists that can be happy. Callie and Marie are nicer in this dimension. Rocky and Sora do not exist in this dimension. At minimum, Nico, Mint, Ripley, Ruby and the Future Squad (Red, Mimi, Veronica) exist in this dimension. Stella, the other Sleeper, exists in this dimension and this dimension only, but was able to have visions and dreams related to Ripley's journey through the Deepsea Metro during those events. This dimension was not reset after the events of Lucidverse.

LUCIDVERSE: The astral dimension. Does not have an Agent 3. Able to be accessed through dreams. First discovered by Hero!Rocky after a near-death experience sent her astral body there. Later discovered by Variable when she tried to take Origin!Coral to Hopeverse and save her from the oncoming reset, inciting the events of Lucidverse. Converted into a "free-roaming dimension" by her, allowing both astral and physical bodies to exist in this dimension. Currently inhabited by Origin!Coral, Origin!Reef, and Hero!Rocky, who are able to traverse all four dimensions as astral bodies. Formerly inhabited by Origin!Callie.

THE BADLANDS: The empty world. Created as a pocket dimension connecting to Hopeverse. The only living people there are those who enter. Formerly inhabited by Origin!Sora and Galileo Windsong; The former was sent there by Hero!Rocky after seeing what he did in Originverse, and the latter was bound there by the divine forces that created it, with Gale acting as its guardian in turn. Both of them were granted the ability to leave later on, but Gale keeps an eye on the place, and is also currently one of the only characters to hypothetically be able to enter the Badlands, along with Neon and Rocky.
