Archanes is a closed species created by AkumaFox
YOU MUST HAVE A VALID SLOT IN ORDER TO MAKE AN ARCHANE.
You accept all of the following terms of service when you buy/make a MYO of the species:
Credit the creator of the species when any art of Archanes is involved.
AkumaFox owns the Archanes species, and she and the group's moderators wrote the lore. The Archanes species and its lore may not be copied, used, or distributed in any other way for projects that do not adhere to the group's setting and lore. It is prohibited to exploit these intellectual properties commercially or beyond the scope of the group. Making prints, comics, charms, stickers, and other products is permitted, provided they are used solely for personal purposes and are freely disseminated. Also prohibited is the use of the Archanes species or lore in any personal branding materials.
On the application or first reference, give Archane Artists credit for any adopted designs as well as for any bases or other parts that were not created by you.
Please submit your Archane design to the #myo-approval channel in Discord after purchasing a MYO slot to ensure that it is accepted. You can then upload your Archane to ToyHouse, DeviantArt, and other sites
You may only utilize purchased Archanes adopts or authorized MYO designs in roleplay, artwork, commissions, etc. that adheres to the story and context of the species. For more details about their culture and world, please be sure to check the Lore Library.
LEAVING THE SPECIES
Members must void the Archane design if they want to utilize the character somewhere else or outside of the confines of Archane.
At the very least, this entails getting rid of the floral and gemstone combination that is the Archane "signature" on the design. Please be aware that all references to the Archanes' Lore and Realm, as well as their Gem Stats and special skills, must be changed or erased.
Please note that Archane adopts may ONLY be voided if the particular Archane Artist allows it! Archane Artists moving forward must list such terms on their adoptable listings. For all previous adopts, voiding may be allowed.
We request that members update the other qualities if the gems OR flowers are to be kept. Please be aware that BOTH cannot be kept in its current state.
Except for the costume, which need not be altered, Archane voids must always be distinctly distinct from one another.
If you plan on "swapping CS" for your voided Archane, please ensure the new design resembles the new CS more than the Archanes species.
Please refer to the instructions in the Discord channel #voiding for information on how to void MYOs or voidable adoptions. You can do whatever you want with your character once the voided design has been approved.

IF EGREGIOUS MISCONDUCT OCCURS
Members who disobey these terms of service, the lore, or the Rules may receive warnings, strikes, or even be expelled from the community if their wrongdoing is severe, persistent, or lengthy.
Archanes runs on a three strikes system. 3 official warnings = 1 strike, and 3 strikes = ejection from the species.
These people would also have to void all MYO designs and, depending on the original artist's stated terms, either void or surrender official adopts. Such terms must be void if they are not expressly stated in writing.
These people would also be permanently prohibited from acquiring any Archanes in the future through Trades or Resales of any kind.
Whether the heinous wrongdoing took place in Archanes or not, we reserve the right to look into it and take appropriate action if there is evidence of it. Tracing, scamming, making unauthorized archanes, ghosting payments, circumventing blocks, cyberbullying, harassment, extreme ship pressure, and emotional manipulation are a few examples of these activities.
MYO Policy
Before being uploaded anywhere, all MYO designs must undergo admin clearance because more adjustments may be required based on staff comments and the lore/rules.
Nude references will no longer be accepted for MYO event clearance. When submitting to #myo-approval, please include an outfit with the Archane.
When submitting MYOs for approval, be sure to include the Application Template information, or it will be rejected.
The Archane lore is set in 19th Century and Feudal Japan in aesthetic, including isekai anime and D&D. Outfits heavily inspired by modern clothing or human cultural references will no longer be accepted, same goes with occupations or technology inclusions that are too modern.
Free MYO designs that are accepted must present a finished app to the group within 365 days of acceptance, failing which the design will be discarded. That calls for their correct modification and void from the species.
This expiration policy DOES NOT APPLY to any adopts or slots acquired through the sale or barter of previously-approved Archanes or to any adopts or slots paid for with real money.
RESELLS
Only Archanes earned through adoption or MYO slots paid for with points or money may be sold again.
You cannot resell any Archane for more than you’ve spent on it with money or deviantart points.
Unless there were any upgrade potions purchased with points/money OR commissioned artwork of your Archane, free MYO slots or slots acquired with Crystal Petals may only be traded.
You may NOT trade or sell your Archane if it has not received official approval.
The Trading Center on this website or on Discord may NOT be used to post Archanes that you are undecided about selling. When you list your Archanes for trade or sale, you agree to part with the designs; no take backs are permitted.
TRADE
Trading is permitted between Adopts and Approved MYOs, but kindly inform the new owners that the species is closed and has obligatory lore
GIFTING
Gifting is permitted, but you are not permitted to resale any Archanes that you did not purchase using real money.
PLEASE LET US KNOW IF OWNERSHIP CHANGES!
Please join the server and use the #trading-center channel to find buyers if you want to sell or trade your Archane!
A title that CLEARLY indicates you wish to resell or trade them should be included when you post them to the ToyHouse community, please! They will subsequently be transferred by staff to the Trading Center folders!
Please use the #transfers channel on the Discord server to inform us if you have already sold or exchanged an Archane.
Please join the Discord server and use the #transfers channel to let us know if you buy an Archane through a trade or resale.
Other Reminders
To provide members with plenty of inspiration for their own stories, this species has a rich lore and worldbuilding. The lore is currently being worked on, so adjustments and modifications are inevitable. I ask that you have this in mind when you begin to write your Archane backstory. If older members' Archanes backstories conflict with the officially declared narrative, they may need to change parts of them
Although they are appropriately restricted to both members and Archane ocs who are adults, please be aware that some portions of the mythology may contain some delicate and mature subjects. Having said that, please be aware that not all members may find some topics appropriate.
Tracing other people's artwork and claiming it as your own is utterly prohibited, and violators will be kicked off the Discord server. Similarly, if you used a base or reference in any art that you posted, you must provide credit or at least acknowledge this; failing to do so will result in a warning for the first offense and a strike for the second.
There is no exception to the requirement that members must be 18 or older to access NSFW content. It is against the rules for minors to submit NSFW content that they created or had ordered to the group. This will cause an instant strike in the future. If discovered, any artist who knowingly takes a nsfw commission from a customer who is underage will be expelled from the group.
Archane Copyright Policy
The owner of the newer design will face disciplinary action if an intentional copying incident is reported to the admin with supporting documentation. This might entail voiding designs, revocation of MYO slots, or even exclusion from the species.
If an adopt has already been sold and it is discovered to have an infringement, the creator may choose to either refund the adoptable or make changes to the current adopt. The buyer may collaborate with the administration to alter specific aspects of the OC if the artist is unable to issue a refund and is unable to help with tweaking the adopt. Unless many designs by the artist are proven to be infringing, no action will be taken against them.
You can be asked to make changes to your design if the owner of an already-approved design alerts staff to a new MYO or adopt that has a disturbing amount of similarity.
If a member sees a design that they believe is too close to their already-approved design, they are advised to contact the moderators right away.
Only situations reported by members will be covered by this policy. Administrators won't enforce rules on behalf of users based on similarities they notice or inform artists that they "found a copycat design."
Admins will apply the following checklist to verify whether a flagged design is actually an infringement:
Design Case Checklist
Same set of traits
Same flower and gem combination
The same color scheme is applied in the same place.
Same horn placement and shape, especially if it differs from the standard spike shape.
Very similar outfit or clothing
Similar "unique features" like a chipped ear, tattoos, scars, etc. in the same location OR the exact same design.
Screenshots, overlays, or other forms of evidence for reference theft, tracing, etc. Also useful are time stamps
There will often be 4 to 6 of these in an infringement design
