Gachamon's Bulletins

Holy Moly Buncha Newbies

Hey, gang! So many fresh faces! <33

As many of you have been told, we're in the middle of a big remodel! We're a one-woman show so updates and changes can be a bit slow, but as cop-out as it sounds we kind of pride ourselves on being chill around here. So kick back, relax, and get ready for some impending fun. ⭐

(ps I'm adding text to this, you guys might wanna peep at this when you've got the time and check back every so often until it's done! https://toyhou.se/~forums/26298.-welcome-wagon/281874.getting-started )

Progress!

Posted 3 years, 6 months ago by shortbred

As many of you know, we're an ARPG (Art Roleplay Group) from deviantART that was originally founded back in 2016, though the concept and development of the group preceded the date by several years before finalizing as a Pokemon parody.
We were forced to depart from our original home on DA due to the forced Eclipse update and have since migrated (possibly permanently) to Toyhouse.
Now, along with our userbase having to move sites, so does all our info. We've been a work-in-progress since day one and because of that our data is scattered and plenty of it is incorrect or outdated. As text is moved from DA to TH, I'll be doing my best to properly update and categorize it in a reasonable fashion. Keep in mind some of the stuff on TH is already incorrect or badly placed, and I will be fixing that shortly, such as past bulletins being properly sorted into coded World Pages.
I haven't yet fully announced our migration from DA to our strictly-DA userbase as I'd rather have this place fully spruced up before 'closing off' that branch. As always, for the most frequent updates, public opinion requests, and limited-time promos please join us on our Discord!

NBreeding VS ABreeding

Posted 3 years, 11 months ago by shortbred

NBreeding, short for 'Natural Breeding' is a process where two Pokemon perform biological reproduction. This results in offspring that inherit the appearances, or traces of appearances, of their two participating parents.
When a Shiny slot results from an NBred clutch, that slot is allowed to have colors/markings/etc that are outside of their parents' and species' spectrums.

ABreeding, short for 'Artificial Breeding', is a process where two Pokemon have genetic detail harmlessly harvested from their physical bodies and used to produce offspring in a sanitary environment, their appearances customized by human and Pokemon scientists throughout the fetal development cycle. The resulting offspring will look completely unrelated to their biological parents due to said customization.

Note: NBreeding offspring mon cannot be Cloned or Devolved.

When Submitting:

Posted 5 years, 5 months ago by shortbred
  • Only Gachamon in staff-approved forms are allowed to be submitted, meaning all mon must have intact Slots.
  • Please make a separate tab, separate profile, or have a clear divide in the mon's Gallery (with the canon forms up-front and as their icon,) for other forms.
  • Do not add Tabs to the group! If your pre-evo is in a tab, it can be accessed from the mon's main profile. To help prevent flooding and clutter, keep tabs out.
  • If your mon's current (staff-approved) form is in a Tab, please submit only that Tab by itself! This way if you wish, a non-canon form can the main profile on your Toyhouse while the group only receives the canon tab.
  • If a mon's canon form moves from the main profile to a tab or vice-versa, please remove the newly irrelevant tab/profile from the group and resubmit the updated one.
  • Please do not submit Trainers at this time!
  • Make sure any M18+ artwork or literature remains properly marked at all times!
  • Have artists and creators properly cited on all uploads, including the mon itself.
  • Feel free to set up Links between mon! However, keep in mind another user may not want to make a Link with you, and does not need to specify the reason why. Please respect their wishes.
  • Just because someone accepts a link with you due to them being G1 relatives, doesn't mean it's canon, it may mean that they're keeping track of who has been bred to who to discourage inbreeding. Identify non-canon relationships with [G1*].
  • In preparation to G2, the Parents of mon have the final decision of whether or not their child is considered canon when transferring from G1. Just as with granting parental permission for designs, they have the final say, and do not need to specify the reason why. Please comply with the wishes of the predecessors.
Please do not attempt to use the Forums at this time! Currently, this World serves as a Toyhouse-based collection for Gachamon members. Further implementation highly possible, however!

Q: Help! My Gachamon is in the same image as another user's mon, but I don't want to tag their profile in the upload/they don't want to tag mine!

A: "No means no" is an incredibly important statement for multiple reasons, including this one. Just like if someone doesn't want to Link characters with you or vice-versa, you must abide by the rejecting user's wishes, and do not argue. They do not need to specify a reason why they don't want to share the same upload with you.
