The Order was founded relatively far from any neighboring clans. There wasn't any sacred or blessed meaning to why the land was chosen for the clan to settle down in. Honestly, it was just where a bunch of rag tag cats accidentally met up and decided to stick together. The trees were a good domain for them. They felt safe and secure being able to easily hid themselves deep in the maze of trees. They were good for climbing practice and also good for hunting birds of prey. In the fall, when needles and leaves began to fall, the materials were convenient and comfortable to re situate dens for nursing she-cats and kits to be. A mountainside river which the cats had dubbed Summet River gave them plenty of cool, fresh water to drink given that it was tucked under the shade of the towering treetops. While to other clan's eyes the area looked scarce and not worth the trouble, the Order lived there peacefully and happy to be full and taken care of. There was a spot full of old ruins that must have been built by humans long before the trees had grown to their full height. The rubble there piled just perfectly to have the area be a training ground for young warriors. Similarly, three watchtowers stood tall amongst the forest, leaving great leverage for scouts to keep watch over their clan. (235)
