🍁 Sensin Creation

Jump to: Hatchling, Young, Youth, Adult

🌿 Rules 🌿

🌱Regular MYO rules apply with the exception of the following:
🌱 This type of PC must be obtained through an event or something similar. They are not open to make unless you've earned one!
🌱 Generally speaking, when playing a PC, replace "Snakekey" and "keke" with "PC" where applicable. For example, one of the creation rules reads: A keke must be created at the hatchling phase. Since you're not using a keke, you'd read this as: A PC must be created in the hatchling (/puppy) phase. Granted, this won't work or make perfect sense with all rules, but it should be enough to get by
🌱 Sensins are an Out Valley species [🏞️]

🌿 Infant 🌿A tiny blue Sen infant curled into a tight ball

🍃 Baby Sensins are called "seasonal infants", as they'll appear different depending on what season they're born into! Er, eventually anyway. When they're brand-new, their element may not have had a chance to grow in quite yet
🍃 Like your average babies, tiny Sens should be kept warm and dry while they're teeny tiny
🍃 Infants are not required for approvals! This is just info

🌿 Newborn 🌿A newborn Autumn Sen rolling on its side with one arm stretched out playfully

🍃 Sensins have very small, delicate front legs. They use these to balance when walking quadrupedal, but, if things start getting intense, they'll tuck them and run bipedal! They may also stand bipedal to manipulate objects, see across longer distances, or talk to kekin who are a little too tall
🍃 Sens are a very peaceful species. They enjoy caring for nature, relaxing, and minding their own business
🍃 Each Sensin (generally speaking) will be born in tune with their birth season, shown in their elemental features. They often have a great fondness for their season and treat it with respect
🍃 If born on a world or place without seasons that clearly align with Spring, Summer, Fall, or Winter, a Sensin will be born Seasonless, lacking an element. These type of Sens are treated no worse than anyone else in society, but they might still feel as if they're missing out on something...
🍃 The mouth of a Sen is almost beak-like, with three large notch "teeth". These are generally used to harvest vegetation, but the rare Sensin might also use them to enjoy meat...!
🍃 If within five miles of a wildfire, Summer Sensins may find their element bursts into flames when their emotions are strong! This doesn't hurt them, but is quite dramatic of you, honestly
🍃 Sens have sensitive, hare-like ears, a very mild roman nose, and a long, slender neck with a slight 'S' curve. Their bodies are just a touch long with bulky hind paws to support their bipedalism. Their tails are fluffy and not very long unless extended by an element

🌿 Newborn Creation 🌿The image guide for Sensin breeds, showing seasonless, Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter alongside an element coverage guide

🍂 1: Lines > Draw the base for your new PC. You'll need to pick a breed for your Sensin, seen in the image to the right, and follow the anatomy example for the corresponding breed. Note that there will be more info in the description if you click on it! Certain breeds can only be created on specific months, so be careful which one you choose! Elements may face up or down - it doesn't matter
🍂 2: Base > Pick a base color. Spring breeds are light, pastel-y colors. Summer breeds are warm colors (red, orange, pink...). Autumn breeds are dullish warm colors. Winter breeds are cool colors (blue, green, purple...). Seasonless Sens may be any color at all. Newborns don't have markings yet. Exception: the inner ears may be a different color than the base if desired. Both ears must match
🍂 3: Element > This is the grass, petals, leaves, or ice on a Sensin. It can be any color that is natural for it (eg grass can be green, brown, or yellow). It may be as many colors as you like as long as it resembles its real-world counterpart. Gradients are allowed
🍂 4: Eyes > Eyes come with two colors: one for the pupil and pupil ring and another for the sclera (eye white). The pupil color will affect the nostrils and inner mouth while the sclera color affects the tongue and blood

🌿 Rules 🌿

🌱 Regular aging rules apply

🌿 Young 🌿A Summer Sen young sitting with one paw raised into the air

🍃 The markings of Sensin are quite simple. They're generally designed to help them blend in with their habitat, as their element draws enough attention on its own!
🍃 Getting markings can actually be a little bit stressful for Sens. Their elements are very important to them - they like them to look nice and be noticed in a positive light. It would be an absolute nightmare to develop markings that clashed with one's preexisting colors...!
🍃 Aside from fussing over their markings-to-be, young Sens enjoy doing a lot of leaping. This curious habit helps them develop strong legs and especially aids in standing bipedal. And tackle their friends.

🌿 Young Creation 🌿

An image showing the max sizes for point and under markings

🍂1: Lines > Start by drawing the base image for your PC. Be sure to follow the anatomy examples shown here
🍂 2: Base > Sensins get their bases as newborns - this step is done and you can move on!
🍂 3: Color method > Choose a coloring method. Keep in mind that "variations of your base  color" must appear to be in the same hue as the base. This means you can move the color slider say, from light orange to dark orange, but do not touch the slider you would use to change orange to blue much!
🌼Method A: 0-1 variation of the base color to add point markings (on the muzzle, paws, tail, and/or ears). These may be a gradient or a spot
🌻Method B: 0-1 variation of the base color to add under markings (on the belly, underside of the neck, underside of the tail, chin, and/or insides of the limbs)
🍂 4: Design > Design your PC with the colors you've chosen! Sen markings don't have size restrictions and may be gradiented. Just don't get wicked complex without upgrades!
🍂 5: Description > You're ready to post your PC! Please be sure to locate the form below, fill it out, and put it in the description.

🌿 Youth 🌿A youth Spring Sensin walking bipedal. They have drowsiness and blotches

🍃 Sensin teenagehood isn't glamorous. The "upgrades" they can receive during this time are at best a nuisance and at worst can be somewhat harmful...!
🍃 It's not uncommon for youth Sens to skip out on walking bipedal when they can. You never know when unstable ankles will strike and it's just better to have the stability of four legs as opposed to two...
🍃 While they're not shamed for it in society, Sens can be a little sensitive about getting marking upgrades such as blotches and redness, as it distracts from their element. They worked hard growing that element! They want it to look pretty! Don't look at my acne instead, arg!!
🍃 Strangely, Sen ears seem fairly likely to lop or fall over while they're in the youth phase. This is peculiar due to how strong and stiff they are normally. It just goes to show that youth upgrades care for no kekin

🌿 Youth Creation 🌿

🍂 1: Lines > Start by drawing the base image for your PC. Be sure to follow the anatomy examples show here
🍂 2: Design > We've already done this and you're ready to go!
🍂 3: Upgrades > Sensin youth are required to have at least one of the upgrades listed below. They can either keep or remove them once they reach adulthood. Once the approval's over, they have full access to these any time they wish (excepting on younger stages, of course). Note that a youth will always have to have a minimum of one of these and it can't just be removed after the approval process

A black keke with white blotchesA purple keke showing chubbiness in the torso and naga tail26845055_BNK9vNliP47Bw6E.png

💫 1: > Blotches - Youth
It looks like sores, but it's just little dots of the accent color appearing on the face. Scaled keke may try and pick off the affected scales, but this isn't a great idea, please don't pull scales out of things
💫 2: > Chubby - Youth
Maybe one day, this'll convert into a fae morph's figure. Until then, you've got a bit of a belly going on. Note that this shouldn't be a dramatic change - just noticeable. Can be on the torso, naga tail, or both
💫 3: > Drowsiness - Youth
Bags under your eyes because no, mom, you weren't up late last night

y__ear_kinks_by_hannah__bug_ddy9xfh-fullSnakekey_Upgrade_Base_-_Flopsy_ears.png26845087_UK9tmu8ikODxjoN.png

💫 1: > Ear kinks - Shivelight and Sensin only - Youth
Weak cartilage causes ears to fall over or fold on themselves. May cause slight bends or full-on flop ears. Can effect all ears or just a few. Does not change colors
💫 2: > Flopsy ears - Youth
The ears won't quite sand up straight. They hang about level with the head or lower
💫 3: > Growth spurt - Youth
Typically a sign of an oncoming reach morph. Allows a keke to be taller than average for their age. Nothing crazy, though!

y__matting_by_hannah__bug_ddy9wje-fullviy__redness_by_hannah__bug_ddyaa6s-fullvi26845097_CahpXl5xHaB5BS4.png

💫 1: > Matting - Youth
Fur clumps together, making unsightly and difficult to comb out mats. Usually the result of poor hygiene, cough cough, nudge nudge
💫 2: > Redness - Shivelight and Sensin only - Youth
Reddish or pinkish skin showing irritation. Usually visible in areas where fur is at its thinnest such as around the eyes or ears. Just...be sure it's not an infection
💫 3: > Short stature - Youth
Your keke doesn't seem to have grown much...a common sign of an oncoming goblin morph. Allows them to be shorter than average for their age. Nothing crazy, though! This "upgrade" has a tendency to make them look a stage or two too young via underdeveloped face, body, etc

y__unstable_ankles_by_hannah__bug_ddyaad

💫 1: > Unstable ankles - Shivelight and Sensin only - Youth
Weak ankles which can randomly roll or give out

🌿 Adult 🌿A Winter Sensin sitting elegantly with their head tucked

🍃 As they transition into adulthood, a Sensin's element may undergo a change, displaying different tiny nature features. Even Seasonless Sens aren't left out. Though some may remain blank, others will have a chance to develop at least some kind of covering
🍃 Some features will be part of the Sen themselves while others will be a thing that goes on top of them. For example: ice just sits atop a Sen and it doesn't hurt if a chunk gets taken out of it (though it will take a little while to regrow). Inversely, a Sen growing trees will need to be careful! They have deep taproots that connect to the bloodstream. Trees are able to feel touch and will bleed if wounded! They may not even regrow if they're removed - it depends on the Sensin
