Sometimes-Questions ❔

Maybe not "frequently asked", but of a pool of questions that pop up... sometimes. Maybe only once. Who knows. Partly for my reference, partly for yours! You don't have to search through here before asking a question, worry not : )

πŸ™ Can a character be born albino, melanistic, etc...?
Yes, as long as their species'/type's base coloring rules allow! There are clutch upgrades for albinism, melanism, and others, but these are designed to be slightly special since you can just do this regularly in most cases

πŸ™ Can a character be born blind, mute, disabled, etc...?
Yes! In most cases, anyway. If your intended disability or condition does not have visible effects that would require upgrades (such as cataracts causing blindness), then you're good to go! Accessories, which can be used as wheelchairs, aides, etc, do not count and can be used freely on approvals (just make a little ref off to the side if they obscure the design a lot!)

πŸ’— Can you quint/twin/triplet existing keke?
Yep! I like to call this the "cloning machine" and you'll see members talking about their "quinted" characters sometimes. Applying a clutch increaser upgrade to an already approved keke will allow you to make more of that keke type - 1 more for twins, 2 for triplets, and 4 for quints. These cloned characters will need to be approved as regular with the upgraded keke/PC cited as the way they were obtained. Twins/triplets/quints don't have to bear any resemblance to the original character other than matching them in species type. For example, if you twinned a loyalty Zenith, then the twin could be any breed available in the year you'd be posting!

πŸ’— Do twin/triplet/quint characters inherit the original keke/PC's upgrades?
Generally speaking: no. In the case of breeding results: yes. If you've rolled a character with upgrades andΒ a clutch multiplier, then all of the multiples made of that character can optionally have all of the upgrades that the original has access to! If you're multiplying an already approved character, then their clones will indeed be naked. In rare cases where characters were approved with upgrades, such as anniversary events where keke/PCs can be "born with" certain anni upgrades, then keke multiplied from such a character can inherit those upgrades (and those ones only!). Note that this does not apply to characters wrongly approved with upgrades applied - it happens sometimes : p The original's baby app upgrades must have been "lawfully" applied to carry on

πŸ’— Can you Aida twin quints/triplets/twins?
Yep! Apply the clutch multiplier first and then Aida twin your results. Twinned twins will result in 4 keke/PCs, twinned triplets will give you 6, and twinned quints will result in a wild 10
