👛 Leprechaun Creation

Jump to: Hatchling, Young, Youth, Adult

🌿 Behemoth Functions 🌿

🌠 Hatching: Leprechauns are attracted to precious metals and will take kindly to a jumpstart to their collection. Write 400 words/draw your keke presenting the egg with valuable a metal such as coins or even something as simple as nails. Art must be fully colored and a minimum of halfbody with a background. Must be cleanly lined or done in a clean lineless style
🌠 Benefiting: Leps are generally very good at their jobs, which often consists of growing their collection of metals in one way or another. They're able to help other keke be good at their jobs too! Each Leprechaun can be a master of one specific specialization job, allowing you to skip the requirements for it and jump right in with any kekin
🌠 Boosting: By earning 150 stars, a single Lep can unlock an additional specialization job. They can do this unlimited times with no upward ceiling
🌠 Offspring: When breeding, a Lep's offspring will be rolled from the opposite parent (ie Lep x Bouncer will always result in Bouncer eggs). If  there is no parent of different type (ie Leprechaun x Leprechaun ) the babies will simply be regulars. Due to this, Leps cannot produce mixes or hybrids. Offspring have the option of being blessed. Blessed offspring can pick a max of upgrades to apply on their application from the pool below. When submitting a blessed child for approval, the "type" field will have "Leprechaun blessed" in front of it. For example: Type: Leprechaun Blessed Loomer

⭕ Open spoiler to see prestigious upgrades! ⭕

Bubbly-pouch.pngGolden-ears.pngHunched-arms.png

🌌 1 > Bubbly pouch: Two extra bumps that go on a cheek pouch, giving simple rounded ones a Leprechaun-like appearance. These two bumps may be applied to cheek pouch replacers such as an Exo's ear bands or a Fake's cheek scales. If a kekin does not have a valid replacer, this upgrade may add two bumps to the jawline instead. Added bits should match the color they sit atop of
🌌 2 > Golden ears: If a kekin has visible inner ears, this will turn them to shimmering gold. If they don't, then this will add a swath of gold to the side of the ear, mimicking a visible inner ear. Gold can vary in color, but should be a yellow gold (as opposed to white gold, rose gold, etc)
🌌 3 > Hunched arms: Change the arm proportions to those of a Leprechaun Behemoth. These are cervine-adjacent with short fetlocks and elbows that bend like a regular kekin. Note that this does not add hooves nor change colors

Tri-lip.png

🌌 1 > Tri-lip: A lip that covers the attached teeth (if a kekin has any). It's shaped like three simple bumps. Should match the color it sits atop of

🌿 Egg 🌿Rough-egg.png

🍃 Leprechaun eggs are often referred to as "rough eggs" due to their resemblance to an uncut piece of ore. Color varies, but they have an increased tendency to shimmer gold
🍃 Like other behemoth eggs, Leps are the "chosen one" type. They will not hatch unless lured out with something they can hoard. Rumor is that they can scent metal through their shells
🍃 Rough eggs have extra rocky bits poking off of them, weighing them down and keeping them from rolling around. This can make them unexpectedly heavy or very strangely shaped, obscuring their presence
🍃 Eggs are not required for approvals! This is just info

🌿 Rules 🌿

🌱 Regular MYO rules apply with the exception of the following:
🌱 This type of keke must be obtained through an adventure, event, etc... They are not open to make unless you've earned one!

🌿 Hatchling 🌿Leprechaun-hatchling.png

🍃 Leprechauns are born without any belly scales at all, making them lack the ability to slither over any surface. They'll later grow hair that will protect their underbellies, but for now, they're kind of vulnerable!
🍃 Leps have long, pointy ears, but upon hatching, the cartilage isn't firm enough to stand up on its own! For babies, the ears form short lops
🍃 Instead of having attached teeth, Leps have something that is somewhat uncommon among Snakekeys: a lip. Theirs forms the shape of three small bumps. They'll grow some later, but for the mean time, the inside of the mouth is toothless
🍃 Leprechaun arms aren't built quite the same as your average keke. They're cervine-adjacent with short fetlocks and elbows that bend like a regular Snakekey's. Due to their structure, Leps are more likely to slither while walking on their golden cloven hooves than stand upright
🍃 Leps have long necks, short head tufts, tri-bump cheek pouches, and a tiny plant sprig on the tips of their tails. This plant will later obviously be a clover, but it's not so distinct for the moment

🌿 Hatchling Creation 🌿

🍂 1: Lines > Draw the base for your new Snakekey. Be sure to look at the anatomy examples here!
🍂 2: Base > Pick a base color. It can be any color as long as it's solid. Hatchlings don't have markings yet
🍂 3: Accent > Pick a green for the tail tip, mouth, tongue, and blood to be. This may be tinted yellow or blue, but should still be identifiable as a green
🍂 4: Gold > Must be a yellow gold (eg not rose gold, white gold, etc...). Goes on the cheek pouches, inner ears, and hooves
🍂 5: Eyes > Eyes are one solid color with no visible pupils
🍂 6: Description > You're ready to post your Snakekey! Please be sure to locate the form below, fill it out, and put it in the description

🌿 Rules 🌿

🌱 Regular aging rules apply

🌿 Young 🌿Leprechaun-young.png

🍃 Leprechauns are hoarders of precious metals. This can cause them to clash with Fafnir Behemoths, as they both may want to collect the same items
🍃 Young Leprechauns will begin teething as they grow in four nubby fangs - two on their upper jaw, two on their lower. It's common for keke to turn to gnawing on their own hooves for relief since they're, well, right there! Caretakers should watch for this and possibly bootie up hooves in danger of too much wear
🍃 The belly and the underside of the neck will begin to grow a line of fur designed to protect the keke while slithering. It's coarsest towards the tail tip and softest towards the jawline. As one might expect, keeping this fluff clean is sort of an ordeal... Debris sticks to the coarser stuff less, but burrs and mud will still likely be present. Among adult Leps, it's often considered polite to ignore reasonable smudges
🍃 The ears do a better job of holding their own weight at the young stage, but the tips will still be droopy. This is considered a sign of youth among Leps and often thought to be cute!
🍃 Young Leps will have three to four visible leaves on their tail sprigs, which are larger, but not yet very impressive. You'll still probably catch them fanning themselves with these in hot weather, though
🍃 The head tuft of young Leprechauns may be longer than that of their hatchling phase or around the same size, it varies

🌿 Young Creation 🌿
Leprechaun-young-aging-guide.png

🍂1: Lines > Start by drawing the base image for your keke. Be sure to follow the anatomy examples shown here
🍂 2: Base > Snakekeys get their bases as hatchlings - this step is done and you can move on! Note that the keke grows four nubby fang teeth (2 on the upper jaw, 2 on the lower) that will match the gold color
🍂 3: Color method > Choose a coloring method. Keep in mind that "variations of your base color" must appear to be in the same hue as the base. This means you can move the color slider say, from light orange to dark orange, but do not touch the slider you would use to change orange to blue much!
🌼Method A: 0-3 variations of the base color
🌻Method B: 1 variation of the base color, 2 of any color you like! Note that this method requires the use of 3 colors total
🍂 4: Design > Design your Snakekey with the colors you've chosen! Markings generally need to cover a lot of area. This can mean they are large in size or are very long. Smaller markings are okay as long as they're connected to a bigger marking of the same color. Spots generally should be no smaller than the entire hand and thin markings no shorter than arm's length. Do not use gradients on designs
🍂 5: Description > You're ready to post your Snakekey! Please be sure to locate the form below, fill it out, and put it in the description

🌿 Youth 🌿Leprechaun-youth.png

🍃 Teen Leps have significantly more underbelly fluff than young do, though it won't have reached its full length yet. Their ears, however, will have. They're now strong enough to stand fully upright on their own
🍃 The clover on the tail tip will be very near full size, which is pretty gigantic for a clover! It's a bit tougher to tear than its Earth counterpart, but a Leprechaun will still need to treat it with some care in order to keep it in one piece. Torn leaves will eventually shed and regrow, but you never know how long the process is going to take - don't bet on it!
🍃 By the time they reach the youth phase, a Leprechaun will have likely amassed a decent collection of treasure to call their own. Now that their brains are a little more developed, they can look upon this instinct more critically. They may consider giving away some metal to those in need instead of keeping it all for themselves. Maybe. It depends on the keke
🍃 It begins to become abundantly clear as a keke grows more independent that their firm, shimmering hooves are not good for manipulation. Leps may need tools specifically adapted to hooved kekin in order to operate properly. Writing utensils, spoons, doorknobs, and much more can provide a challenge. Thankfully, the leaves of their tail tips are mobile and can help them in some situations, but they're still pretty bulky to, say, pick up a pen
🍃 A Leprechaun's shimmering fangs are nearly at full length during the youth phase thanks to the large amount of growing they did as youngs. While these aren't the best to chew with, most keke teeth aren't anyway. Leps tend to love flashing their golden fangs and will do so more than your average keke

🌿 Youth Creation 🌿

🍂 1: Lines > Start by drawing the base image for your keke. Be sure to follow the anatomy examples show here
🍂 2: Design > We've already done this and you're ready to go!
🍂 3: Upgrades > Keke youth are required to have at least one of the upgrades listed below. They can either keep or remove them once they reach adulthood. Once the approval's over, they have full access to these any time they wish (excepting on younger stages, of course). Note that a youth will always have to have a minimum of one of these and it can't just be removed after the approval process

Additional-leaves.pngBalding-belly.png26845008-9bcg2q4-M5-ASv-GQu.png

💫 1 > Additional leaves - Leprechaun only - Youth
The tail tip sprouts a few more leaves, though most of them will be pretty small. How many leaves is your clover up to?! Added leaves may be any color
💫 2 > Balding belly - Leprechaun only - Youth
It seems all the fur on the keke's underside isn't quite up to snuff... Patches of it are missing. Note that this upgrade cannot remove 100% of the fluff and does not change colors. If a kekin doesn't have fur on its underside for this upgrade to remove, it won't do anything!
💫 3 > Bedhead - Youth
An enhanced version of head fluff that looks worse and is generally terrible. Grows on the top of the head and doesn't heed your mortal laws. Sticks up wherever it pleases and can't be tamed no matter how hard you try. Sometimes, this can form in small amounts on the chin or right above the mouth. Unlike regular head fluff, bedhead can go to the base of the neck at its maximum (excepting the bits on the muzzle, those stay short)

💫 1 > Blotches - Youth
It looks like sores, but it's just little dots of the accent color appearing on the face. Scaled keke may try and pick off the affected scales, but this isn't a great idea, please don't pull scales out of things
💫 2 > Chubby - Youth
Maybe one day, this'll convert into a fae morph's figure. Until then, you've got a  bit of a belly going on. Note that this shouldn't be a dramatic change -  just noticeable. Can be on the torso, naga tail, or both
💫 3 > Drowsiness - Youth
Bags under your eyes because no, mom, you weren't up late last night

Ear-kinks.png26845090-r-NZp-Gg-Xr6t-Wtr-Vd.pngShimmer-horns.png

💫 1 > Ear kinks - Shivelight and Leprechaun only - Youth
Weak cartilage causes ears to fall over or fold on themselves. May cause slight bends or full-on flop ears. Can effect all ears or just a few. Does not change colors
💫 2 > Missing teeth - Youth
The teeth attached to your face are falling out again.... Hopefully they all grow back
💫 3 > Shimmer horns - Shiny and Leprechaun only - Youth
Two short, blunt horns that form on the head that are made out of metal (be it gold, silver, etc...)

26845097-Cahp-Xl5x-Ha-B5-BS4.png

💫 1 > Short stature - Youth
Your keke doesn't seem to have grown much...a common sign of an oncoming goblin morph. Allows them to be shorter than average for their age.  Nothing crazy, though! This "upgrade" has a tendency to make them look a stage or two too young via underdeveloped face, body, etc

🌿 Adult 🌿Leprechaun-adult.png

🍃 Adult Leprechauns have very, very long belly fur. It's more than enough to keep their underside full protected while slithering - in reasonable circumstances anyway. It's not recommended to try traversing broken cobbles or other such overly pointy areas
🍃 Leps are very small for behemoths. While they don't tend to be overly touchy about this, they do find solidarity with other small behemoths such as Changelings and Nissie
🍃 Leprechauns tend to be very dedicated and diligent workers, though what they consider "work" will vary depending on the individual. For some, this is collecting more metal for their hoard. For others, it may be working a regular day-to-day job. Depends!
🍃 Leprechauns themselves are often considered a symbol of wealth and good luck, tinged with a bit of mischievousness. Their clover tails or other features can sometimes be seen painted onto GPS
