๐ฑย Regular MYO rules apply with the exception of the following:
๐ฑย This type of keke must be obtained through an adventure, event, etc... They are not open to make unless you've earned one!
๐ย Slugger eggs are called "spoiler eggs" since, well... they're semi-transparent! You can get a pretty good look at a baby before it hatches
๐ย These eggs must, must, must be placed in the water. They have a high water content and they'll dry out if not kept moist!
๐ย Spoiler eggs are obscenely small. Despite coming from regular-sized keke for the most part, eggs will only be about 2-3 cm in diameter
๐ย Eggs are notย required for approvals! This is just info
๐ฟ Hatchling ๐ฟ
๐ Baby Slugs are round and pudgy, lacking a lot of the frills that they'll grow into later in order to avoid unwanted attention
๐ย While technically amphibious, breathing air with their lungs and water through their skin, little Sluggers usually stick to the water. They're much faster there at this early age. Though...they're not really good at swimming per se. They just not super land-moving-shaped, so they have a better chance at wriggling around in the water than flopping around in the grass
๐ย Unlike most other hatchling types, Slug babies are superย small. Even though they'll grow to around joey height, they're born only an inch or two long!
๐ย Sluggers have big eyes with a sort of... jelly-like appearance. Their ears and mane are made up of frills that, at this age, are sort of small. The cheek pouches have a line of frill poking off the back of them. Their arms are a little short and a lot fat, lacking developed paws. Past their hips, the naga tail widens out to a round little blob with itty bitty frill sets on each sides of the hips and towards the tip of the tail
๐ย Baby Slugs' skin can take on a bit of a tint in large areas such as the head, arms, back, etc... Their skin is currently thin, so this is just how to reacts to the light before it thickens up
๐ย 1: Lines > Draw the base for your new Snakekey. Be sure to look at the anatomy examples here!
๐ย 2: Base > Pick a base color. It can be any color as long as it's solid. Hatchlings don't have markings yet
๐ย 3: Accent > Any solid color. This goes on the cheek pouches and blood
๐ 4: Belly scales > Goes on the belly scales and mouth/tongue. This can be any pure grey, white, or black (besides pitch black). "Pure" means it's not tinted any other color and is totally desaturated!
๐ 5: Eyes > Eyes can be any color. The center of the eyes are darker than the rest, though still the same color (red centers for red eyes, etc...). This center can be blurred or solid. Eyes are also super shiny โจ
๐ 6: Tint (Opt) >ย Slugs can have a tint in large areas such as the head, arms, back, etc... This tint must be the same general color as the base (ie green tint for green skin). It can be blurred or solid

๐ฑย Regular aging rules apply
๐ฑย Slugger young and youth phases are lumped together into one for approvals. Once their young is approved, their youth is approved as well!
๐ฟย Young & Youthย ๐ฟ
๐ย Sluggers grow very quickly - they have to in order to catch up to other kids their age! By the time they're young, they should be almost the size you'd expect a young keke to be
๐ย Young Slugs' arms are a little less fat, but more importantly, they're starting to develop nubby little fingers! There's also tiny frills on the elbows. The frills on the ears, mane, and hips elongate and the naga tail slims up to a much more snake-like shape
๐ย Sluggers are naturally quite colorful. If they don't go the blending-into-the-environment route then they're probably aiming to scare of predators with those flashy colors
๐ย If a Slug had a baby tint, it will have faded by now or been covered up with their new design
๐1: Lines > Start by drawing the base image for your keke. Be sure to follow the anatomy examples shown here
๐ 2: Base >ย Snakekeys get their bases as hatchlings - this step is done and you can move on!
๐ 3: Design >ย Use 0-3 of any color you like to design your Snakekey! Markings generally need to cover a lot of area. This can mean they are large in size or are very long. Smaller markings are okay as long as they're connected to a bigger marking of the same color. Spots generally should be no smaller than the entire hand and thin markings no shorter than arm's length. Do not use gradients on designs. Be sure you've removed the baby tint if your Slugger had any - they've grown out of it!

Upgrades:ย (List what the keke has applied)
๐ By the time they're adults, a Slugger's arms and paws will have finally developed! And they're huge! Slugs have very large hands with three big fingers each
๐ย All of a Slug's frills will have reached full size by this age. On top of that, they may have changed shape! Frills will attempt to help out by morphing to match the environment the keke hangs out in the most. Unfortunately, they only do this once, so it's not uncommon for it to be a little less than useful
๐ย Even when adults, Sluggers tend to be more creatures of the water then they are on land. Their skin needs more moisture than most others', so they often have to return for a soak. Or use a lot of lotion
๐ย 1: Lines > Start by drawing the base image for your keke, choosing their fin type based on their most visited environment in the process. You have a lot of freedom in doing this! Just make sure frills are one layer (ie the grass frills shown here have a fringed edge instead of being filled with individual 'blades'). You can even do silly things like somebody else's face if you want. All frills must have the same environment type unless upgraded otherwise
