🦎 Crested Wistul Creation

Jump to: Puppy, Guppy

🌿 Rules 🌿

🌱 Regular MYO rules apply with the exception of the following:
🌱 This type of PC is open to create! They do not have to be earned
🌱 Generally speaking, when playing a PC, replace "Snakekey" and "keke" with "PC" where applicable. For example, one of the creation rules reads: A keke must be created at the hatchling phase. Since you're not using a keke, you'd read this as: A PC must be created in the hatchling (/puppy) phase. Granted, this won't work or make perfect sense with all rules, but it should be enough to get by
🌱 Crestuls can earn Snakekey upgrades, but they cost twice as much as usual! If you hit a decimal, round up to the nearest whole number

🌿 Hillspawn 🌿

dd2g64j-c7b53b90-9287-41e7-80da-c14a858a🍃 Crestul babies, sometimes jokingly called 'fishy puppies', are spawned inside little underwater mud hills. Brand-brand new puppies might also be called 'hillspawn'
🍃 Little Crestuls start out very small! It's important for them to stick close to their parents or otherwise safe hidey holes to avoid being scooped up by anything
🍃 Pups are natural swimmers. They'll be fully capable of darting around at top speed as soon as they emerge from their hill
🍃 Hillspawn are not required for approvals! This is just info

🌿 Puppy 🌿

🍃 Baby Wistuls are commonly called puppies or pups. Puppies are aquatic, not unlike a tadpole! They can breathe underwater until they grow to be olderdd9vjva-c34f35f4-aa95-4c3f-b691-792e4502
🍃 Pup's skin tends to shimmer in the light a bit, supposedly to make them blend in with the surface of the water. Some, however, will be matte and prefer to hide in the mud
🍃 Crested Wistuls are, for the most part, able to regular their own body temperatures. They do this with the heated or cooled mucus their skin secrets. However, each Wistul will only be able to make one temperature
🍃 Crestul pups have small, two-pronged ears and two little nubs on each shoulder. Their legs are underdeveloped and lack toes. Their tail tips feature a large set of nubs that act like a fish tail, helping them swim. Nub specifics: 2 on each ear, 2 on each shoulder, 4-6 on tail

🍂 1: Lines > Draw the base for your new PC. Be sure to look at the anatomy examples here!
🍂 2: Base > Pick a base color. It can be any color as long as it's solid. Wistul puppies' skin may appear shimmery in the light, though this is optional

🍂 4: Eyes > Eyes can be any color, but only one. By default, Crestuls do not have visible pupils.

🌿 Rules 🌿

🌱 Regular aging rules apply
🌱 Crestuls have multiple age phases lumped into one. Once their guppy stage is approved, they are considered approved for young, youth, and adult phases!

🌿 Guppy 🌿dd5m4ln-f9e4ddcb-cf12-44a3-a613-16b5a290

🍃 If a Wistul is not a puppy, then it's a guppy. The guppy age phase includes what would normally be the young, youth, and adult phases
🍃 After the puppy phase, Crestuls are no longer fully aquatic. They can hold their breath for up to 10 minutes, but will still need to breathe air in between!
🍃 As they mature, puppies lose their shimmery skin and become matte by default. They also develop toes (3 on each foot), have stronger legs made for walking, and get more nubs on their bodies. As they no longer need it to swim, their tail fan shrinks drastically. Nub specifics: 3-5 per ear, short nubby mane, larger shoulder nubs (2-3), 3 nubs on each side of hips, 3-6 smaller tail nubs
🍃 About half of Crestuls will naturally seek to develop an art of their own. Others may have been inspired by kekes and are trying to do as they do!
🍃 Adult Crestuls stand around 1'3" to 1'7" when walking on all fours. Rearing up on their hind legs can see them at 2'9" to 3'4"!

🍂1: Lines > Start by drawing the base image for your PC. Be sure to follow the anatomy examples shown here
🍂 2: Base > PCs get their bases as hatchlings - this step is done and you can move on!
🍂 3: Color method > Choose a coloring method. Keep in mind that "variations of your base color" must appear to be in the same hue as the base. This means you can move the color slider say, from light orange to dark orange, but do not touch the slider you would use to change orange to blue much!
🌼Method A: 0-3 variations of the base color
🌻Method B: 1 variation of the base color, 2 of any color you like! Note that this method requires the use of 3 colors total
🍂 4: Design > Design your PC with the colors you've chosen! Markings generally need to cover a lot of area. This can mean they are large in size or are very long. Smaller markings are okay as long as they're connected to a bigger marking of the same color. Spots generally should be no smaller than the entire hand and thin markings no shorter than arm's length. Do not use gradients on designs
🍂 5: Description > You're ready to post your PC! Please be sure to locate the form below, fill it out, and put it in the description. Note that your PC doesn't have to have an art type picked out yet. Don't worry about getting stuck with it either, it can be changed at any time
🍂 6: Submitting > Submit your finished image to the aging approval folder, which can be found here
