The Skytouched ๐ŸŒƒ


๐ŸŒ ย Overviewย ๐ŸŒ 
As they seem to come from another reality, Children of Shivelight cannot breed with Snakekeys, Fakakeys, Gribbons... pretty much any other Susie species. These are not, however, totally beyond a Shive's influence. They have a mysterious effect on creatures from other words, dubbed The Skytouch. This alters a species, giving them Shive-like traits and colors

โญ Shives must be adults to apply Skytouch
โญ Shives can only Skytouch once every 4 weeks
โญ A Shive cannot Skytouch if on breeding cooldown. Likewise, they cannot breed if on Skytouch cooldown - one or the other!
โญ Skytouch can only be applied to unhatchedย Snakekeys! Or uncreated infants/puppies in PC cases. It's applied on creation and goes in the Type field. Example: Type:ย Skytouched Quillrend
โญ A Shive can only Skytouch oneย keke/PC before being put on cooldown, unless the characters being Skytouched come from a litter/clutch in the breeding thread. In this case, the entire litter/clutch can be Skytouched (you can also pick and choose if desired)
โญ Skytouched characters function as regular for their type. Ie a Skytouched Spiced is still a Spiced - their type fundamentally doesn't change
โญ Skytouched characters can pass on the Touch to their offspring, though it's fairly rare with a 1 in 15 chance
โญ Characters can progress through Skytouch phases at any time in their life. It can be spread out over time or all happen within the hatchling/infant/puppy phase if desired
โญ Characters must be shown at least once in a phase to progress to the next phase (ie you have to draw them in phase 2 before applying phase 3)
โญ Children of Shivelight themselves cannot be Skytouched (that'd be a little silly!)


Skytouch_-_keke.png๐ŸŒŒ Phase 1:ย Use a solid black base to color the keke. Black can be tinted a natural mammal color (brown, red, etc...) if desired. Other colors will be normal for the keke type

๐ŸŒŒ Phase 2:ย Follow the Shive young color rulesย (adult coat + smoking.) Note that flecking isn't used for Skytouched designs - just ignore the instructions for those! The fingers should separate a little, but remain very nubby

๐ŸŒŒ Phase 3:ย The black base (aka smoking) will fully disappear. There's a small, visible indent in the ear. The paws transform fully into hands (note that this does not add a thumb - you'll need an upgrade for that). There's a teeny bit of fuzz on the head - think: velvet

๐ŸŒŒ Phase 4:ย The head fuzz grows to full size, which may be any length. The indent in the ears expands to become a hairless, visible inner ear which may be colored the accent color if desired. There's a tiny bit of velvet fuzz on the tail tip

๐ŸŒŒ Phase 2:ย Follow the Shive young color rulesย (adult coat + smoking.) Note that flecking isn't used for Skytouched designs - just ignore the instructions for those! The claws fall off, leaving the toes rounded at the tips

๐ŸŒŒ Phase 3:ย The black base (aka smoking) will fully disappear. There's a small, visible indent in the ear. The paws transform fully into hands (note that this does not add a thumb - you'll need an upgrade for that). There's a teeny bit of fuzz on the head - think: velvet

๐ŸŒŒ Phase 4:ย The head fuzz grows to full size, which may be any length. The indent in the ears expands to become a hairless, visible inner ear which may be colored the accent color if desired. There's a tiny bit of velvet fuzz on the tail tip

๐ŸŒŒ Phase 2:ย Follow the Shive young color rulesย (adult coat + smoking.) Design may go on a Grib's mask if desired. Note that flecking isn't used for Skytouched designs - just ignore the instructions for those! The fingers on the front paws should separate a little, but remain very nubby

๐ŸŒŒ Phase 3:ย The black base (aka smoking) will fully disappear. There's a small, visible indent in the ear. The paws transform fully into hands (note that this does not add a thumb - you'll need an upgrade for that). There's a teeny bit of fuzz on the head - think: velvet

๐ŸŒŒ Phase 4:ย The head fuzz grows to full size, which may be any length. The indent in the ears expands to become a hairless, visible inner ear which may be colored the accent color (either one) if desired. There's a tiny bit of velvet fuzz on the tail tip (the lightbulb part)

๐ŸŒŒ Phase 2:ย Follow the Shive young color rulesย (adult coat + smoking.) Note that flecking isn't used for Skytouched designs - just ignore the instructions for those! The fingers should separate a little, but remain very nubby. If done on a guppy which already has said fingers, you probably won't see this part

๐ŸŒŒ Phase 3:ย The black base (aka smoking) will fully disappear. There's a small, visible indent in the ear. The paws transform fully into hands (note that this does not add a thumb - you'll need an upgrade for that). There's a teeny bit of fuzz on the head - think: velvet

๐ŸŒŒ Phase 4:ย The head fuzz grows to full size, which may be any length. The indent in the ears expands to become a hairless, visible inner ear which may be colored the belly scale color if desired. There's a tiny bit of velvet fuzz on the tail tip (the nub parts)

๐ŸŒŒ Phase 2:ย Follow the Shive young color rulesย (adult coat + smoking.) Note that flecking isn't used for Skytouched designs - just ignore the instructions for those! The claws fall off, leaving the toes rounded at the tips. You can move the Quill claw color onto the toe tips or remove it with the claws

๐ŸŒŒ Phase 3:ย The black base (aka smoking) will fully disappear. There's a small, visible indent in the ear. This curls around the outside of the Quill's ear to be visible. The paws transform fully into hands. Quills get a set of thumbs without an upgrade, but only on the front paws!

๐ŸŒŒ Phase 4:ย The head fuzz grows to full size, which may be any length. The indent in the ears expands to become a hairless, visible inner ear which may be colored the accent color (either one) if desired
