Hello, welcome! This world focuses on creatures called the "Ventus-Lupus" that are dragon-like canines with fire-breathing abilities. These hellhounds are part of a story in the works, called "Wolves of the Wind".
The “species” itself is not an official species by any means, it is merely labeled as a personal species, since anyone can create a wolf-dragon-creature! Though if you find the world interesting and would like to create a character for it, you'd have to look at the rules! ORIGINAL UNIVERSE
Taking place in the late 1990's, The United States. There are several names and nicknames associated with Ventus Lupus, including "Wolves", "Hellhounds" or "Helheenas" due to their unique fire-breathing abilities. These canine-like creatures possess their own cognitive abilities and identity due to the fact that they had once been a human. A scientist had been illegally testing on both humans and animals during this era-- creating what could be considered a "virus" -- with the intention of eradicating mankind. With the sudden appearance of hellhounds popping up all over the globe, panic swept through all 195 countries. Now, the Ventus Lupus are fighting to keep their place in the world, while humans are fighting to protect their own. Many dangerous groups of both hounds and humans arise, causing chaos over unprotected towns and cities.
FANTASY UNIVERSE
The Eyes of Prism has had a prolonged period of peace that stretched over what seemed eternity. There were a total of 16 realms of floating continents and islands, until The Smog came into orbit. An intruder of the realms stole one of the many eyes of Prism, the god-like entity of these worlds. This caused great corruption and a break in the balance of peace, as well as destruction and total obliteration of the realms. Instead of coming together, the realms fell apart due to panic and greed, as well as Prism’s sudden absence. The War of Smog has been carrying on now for centuries, realms slowly falling one-by-one. However there is a shed of light with the return of the Strix, an intelligent species that had presumed to be extinct. These angelic birds work to mend the wounds created by the realms, by humans, harpies (Ventus Lupus), mermay, and fay.
