TERMS OF SERVICE

PAYMENTS

• Payment must be made within 48 hours after the artist has contacted you for payment or the design will be put back up for sale.
• It is at the artist's discretion if they allow a customer to hold longer than 48 hours. However, please note that holds (regardless of the artist's choice) cannot exceed one (1) week.
• Regardless of how payment is sent, you must include your username (dA, th, or discord) in the note as well as what you are paying for.
• Point payments are left up to the discretion of the seller.
• There are no refunds on design purchases, however, you can resell for equal value.
• Sellers reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

Auction/Bidding

• Reply to the highest bidder (unless you are auto buying, reply to the 'bid here' comment AND highest bidder).
• Editing or backing out of bids without notifying the artist is not allowed and you may be blacklisted.
• Wrongly placed or confusing bids will be hidden.
• When bidding make sure you have the money on hand and are ready to buy within 24 hours or claiming. If 24 hours have passed and the transaction is incomplete, the adopt will automatically be placed back up for bidding unless the buyer has notified the artist ahead of time.

Regular Payments

• All payments must be made through "Goods and Services" AND the "No Shipping/Address required". If an artist requires you to pick a different option (with the exception of an invoice), please notify oog as it is in violation of the T.O.S.

OWNERSHIP

• All designs are for non-commercial purposes only.
• Co-ownership of any Sharkcake is prohibited. This is a preventative measure to avoid issues.
• The original designer should be credited for the design and oog should be credited for the species.

Ownership Transfers

• Upon trade, resale or gifting the design to another individual, the current owner agrees to transfer all ownership rights to the recipient.
• It is your job to check the masterlist before receiving a design. Never start a transaction until you've seen the masterlist entry.
• Please remember to comment with the form at the bottom of this forum to log transfers on the masterlist! Gifted, traded, and resold Sharkcakes MUST be updated.
• Premade designs & unused slots can be resold up to the amount they were paid for.
• Designs & slots obtained for free (through events, gifting, or trading) can only be traded or gifted.

MYOs

• MYO slots can ONLY be obtained through: MYO sales - both with real currency and in-game currency Event participations - including DTEs, quests, and other similar events
• Your MYO will automatically be logged into the masterlist with your username as well as a note describing the type of MYO.
• MYOs must be approved before posting anywhere else. They can be approved by oog or Irockyrebel. This must be a clear and fully colored drawing, however, you can get your traits checked ahead of time with clean lines.

EDITS AND REDESIGNS

• Edits include minor things such as weight, minor hue shifts, alternate outfits, and slight marking changes.
• Major redesigns include major things such as trait changes, permanent/drastic changes to hair style and color, and permanent body changes (major scarring/missing limbs).
