- All Demunny start life as Lesser Demunny.
Through a thus-unobserved evolutionary process, Lesser Demunny may eventually grow to become Higher Demunny! However, this isn't true in one hundred percent of cases. As a result, you may at times have siblings from the same warren in two completely different tiers.
- Demunny are not solitary by nature.
Most Demunny begin life in crowded warrens with anywhere between five to fifteen siblings. They grow to form loose packs, which occupy a similar area of territory, if not a shared nest.
- They are known to seek out the companionship of other species, especially those capable of magic and familiar-style contracts.
If one of these critters approaches an aspiring magician, it's not out of the goodness of their hearts. Similar to the domestic cat, Demunny have a tendency to domesticate themselves, forcing a would-be owner or companion to earn their respect before settling with them. They get very upset if someone they picked fails to impress.
- Due to their carnivorous nature, their teeth are sharp, including a set of snake-like retractable fangs.
