Characters

All characters here have NO set gender, and can be referred to with any pronouns, UNLESS specified. They are also referred to by species name for simplicity.

Guild Leaders

Normal.pngManectric grew up in Tempest Flats, but moved to Tinyleaf to take over the local guild previously run by his late father. Well loved not only in Tinyleaf, but respected by many guild and teams across the Region, seeing that he is the song of the famous rescuer and explorer Boltund. Unknown to others, he has his own troubled past but constantly works to be better.

Normal.pngHoundoom Infamous for his wild bandit days in his youth, has changed his ways to form the Riverton Guild. His guild seems way more interested in exploration and gaining wealth over rescuing, so Tinyleaf has to step in to help those in the region. Has a fierce rivalry with Manectric that seems to go beyond their guild days...

Normal.pngFurfrou The upper-class, posh leader of Costa Guild. He takes great pride in his guild and their world-wide recognized accomplishments, but it may get to their heads. The other Guild members have a hard time getting along with him.

Normal.pngMightyena The eccentric, cowboy leader of the Terracotta Guild, complete with a tattered cowboy hat and southern drawl. Even though the Terracotta Guild does good like any other, it gets bad reputation since it allows some ex-bandits to join it, but the leader strongly believes in their ability to change, even if they are a bit rowdy. Gets along well with Manectric and Houndoom, though hates having to act as a medium for their rivalry.

Normal.pngNinetales leader of Frostford Guild. Despite her love for the cold and skills in wintery terrain, believe it or not, she is actually from Alola. She loves the cold and traverses the snowy terrain well, but she sometimes daydreams about living in the Seafoam Shorelines...

Normal.pngLycanroc leader of Fallenleaf Guild. They have a friendly rivalry with Ninetales and will do expeditions together. Is a bit of a nerd for horror and ghost stories, and in free time they help maintain the Fallenleaf Cemetery. They are nonbinary and go by they/them pronouns.

Normal.pngSawsbuck leader of Timberside Guild. A gentle and softspoken lover of nature, and out of his element in the larger cities. His appearance changes based on local biomes / weather / flora, not seasons, so he's usually in Summer form.

Normal.pngSwanna leader of Lilylake Guild. He seems prim and proper on the outside, fitting for his home town's culture, but he doesn't mind getting in muddy, dirty, swampy terrain to rescue anyone in need. He's spent a lot of time in the marshland areas, so he's good at exploring it. He's childhood friends with Furfrou.

Normal.pngZebstrika leader of Tempest Flats Guild. A charismatic businessman, maybe a bit sleazy. He formed the guild alongside his old business partner Luxray. Some of the other guilds worry about their intentions, but they seem to be a solid  rescue guild so far. The other guilds have a lot of trouble in the Thunder Meadows, so Tempest Flats's help is needed.

Normal.pngDruddigon leader of Hollyhearth Guild. Originally from Dragon's Gate, she has a long history with exploring eastern ancient relics and temples, many were built by ancient Dragon pokemon. In her spare time she is a historian, and thanks to her old age as a Dragon type, has been able to contribute to history books.

Normal.pngFlygon the archealogy nerd of the East and leader of Sunnyhollow Guild, she spends a lot of time in relics and ruins in the Soleil Desert and Sunbeam Prairielands. She knows a ton about the history of the region and happy to answer any questions about it.

Normal.pngMilotic leader of Palmwood Guild. She thinks rather highly of herself and is often uncooperative with the other guilds. She is the descendant of an ancient Lord of the Isles.

Normal.pngLiepard leader of Grassknot guild. A tricky battler, winning many competitions using strategy and witt over pure strength. She retired from competitions to become a leader of the guild when the previous one went missing in the Epoch Wilds...

Legendary NPCs

see below for a list of all legendaries, but here will be the most developed ones

Normal.pngAldric the Zamazenta

Misc NPCs

Beheeyem, Unfezant, Granbull and are some of the known Guild Associates, who work for the Guild Association. They may visit as group or individually to different guilds to meet new teams, or teams interested in ranking up. They also check in on guilds to make sure they are following Guild Association guidelines.

Pelipper, Delibird, Talonflame There are many Pelipper who work for the Postal Service and you'll encounter them on your journey. In the northern, more cold regions, you will see Delibirds instead! And in the farthest regions, they employ some Talonflame for high speed, long distance mail usually to the larger coastal cities!

Legendary Pokemon

There is only one of each legendary at a time. This legendary takes on a specific role in the world, typical protecting or maintaining nature, a kingdom, or order in the universe. A legendary will have a longer lifespan than nonlegendary pokemon, typical that of a few hundred years. After it dies (either from natural causes, or from injury in battle) they will reincarnate. This incarnation starts off as a young adult, and retains some memories and basic understandings of the world and language, and must relearn their knowledge and their role, and will have a new personality and name. This may be taught by a familiar legendary, or by a group of pokemon assigned by Arceus to do so, usually in temples or special areas and pass down their teachings.

Below is a list of each legendary and their role, if it is known to public. Some remain out of sight and stay more mysterious, with only legendaries and lore known about them. Some regularly interact with other pokemon.

These legendaries are seen more often than others, sometimes interacting with locals.

Suicune (current incarnation is named Celestine) purifies bodies of water across the world. Raikou (Heliodor) helps encourage thunderstorm formations, bringing rain to needed regions. Entei (Jasper) maintains volcanoes, helping eruptions go smoothly and helping those evacuate when in need. they may communicate and visit towns of mortals.

Lugia & Ho-Oh

kygore and groudon rarely ever see mortals. their ancient incarnations helped form the actual planet, though current incarnations sleep within the sea and the earth. rayquaza may be in the atmosphere, but more likely to come to earth and see mortals.

Regirock • RegiceRegisteelRegieleki • Regidrago

these legendaries are the only pokemon that don't have known or recorded incarnations as they stay sleeping in their temples/shrines, created by ancient pokemon of the region. they may be worshiped/respected by locals to the shrine/temple (regice - telluric taiga, registeel - soleil desert, regirock - sienna desert, regidrago - eastern pinelands/primeval plains, regieleki - sunbeam prarielands/thunder meadows

Regigigas

regigigas is special and a huge part of the region's ancient stories and folklore, and part of a lot of ruins. in stories, it is believed that the first regigigas, created by arceus, helped move different continents together to create the region, due to the region being so massive and having distinct regions/biomes. regigigas, unlike the other regis, does reincarnate but lives for very long time, so only a few have existed.
