General Rules

Technoctem are an Open Species created by UltimaWeapon / J-E-N-0-V-A on DeviantART; characters with regular and special traits can be freely made, while ultra traits and exclusive are locked behind an in-group or real currency payment!
This is a roleplay, adoption and community oriented group, where people 13 years old or above can participate and build characters together. Due to the age demographic accepted within the group, we require nsfw imagery of characters to be locked behind a mature content, and no nsfw channel will be created within the server to protect minors from being accidentally exposed to adult material.

Be respectful of the other members - kindness goes a long way!!
Harassing other members will warrant you a warning. After the second warning has been given without any change shown, the third accident will result in a blacklist.
If something particularly grave happens, blacklisting will be the direct, immediate consequence. Remember that we do not blacklist people lightly, and it will be used as a last resort solution only to unacceptable behavior.
All designs created by UltimaWeapon may be used as commission / custom examples by UW in future adoptables (this does not concern MYO designs, so don't worry).

All sales are final, and no refunds will be given. Please keep this in mind when buying a trait upgrade or design.
In case of a meaningless chargeback (or one with malicious intent) issued against the seller (species owner, official designer, guest designer, moderator or regular designer), blacklisting will be issued immediately. Upon receiving your money back, the design will be retrieved to be rehomed via sale or other means.
Once purchased the design can be used for whatever the current owner may decide, including:
> Within personal stories, as long as they aren't used commercially;
> Within other groups and / or as NPCs in other settings and ARPGs;
> As persona / mascot.
Purchased designs are not allowed to be used for disrespectful and harmful content, such as community (LGBTQA+ / religious / generalized hate towards certain ethnicities), pedophilic or nazism-related imagery.
Purchased Technoctem can be voided at any time.

Designs bought from adoption sheets should be resold for no more than they were bought for.
Commissioned or created artwork can count as add-on to the price, although we demand that you do not use this as a caveat to inflate the price of your design.
Free art you've gotten through art trades and raffles will not add to the price.
Bought designs or trait upgrades can be resold, with proof of the purchase to be given as well so that the new owner can show proof of ownership and transfer.
Free MYO slots from old various events should be only traded, swapped or gifted, never resold.
Guilt tripping people into trading / reselling their characters to you will result in a strike. This kind of behavior will not be accepted within the group.

A cooldown period of two weeks is to be applied whenever a design is acquired through purchasing, trading, gifting or swapping.

People on the blacklist are not allowed to participate in the group prompts and activities.
Once blacklisted, the user is required to give up characters earned via free raffle if they have no additional art - they will be re-raffled within the community. If additional art has been made or commissioned, then the specifications below apply.
All designs purchased or received via trade are to either be species changed, voided, sold or traded (in other words you can either get rid of the design, or keep it as long as you change it into something that isn't a Technoctem / void them to make them unofficial).
Gifted MYOs and gifted customs are to be traded, gifted or returned.
The blacklist is private - DM UltimaWeapon or the World Mods if you need to see it.
