Rules

⚠️ Rules may be ammended, added or removed without notice. ⚠️

(1) 📝 General 📝

1. Creating new closed or open species designed to resemble Koflings is a bannable offence. The unique anatomy of this species makes them hard to replicate in a subtle manner, making knock-off species typically very recogniseable. If the species is deleted, a ban will not be enacted.
   
2. Reposting a Kofling you do not own for trade or sale is strictly forbidden.
   
3. Forging MYO slots for sale or trade to others is strictly forbidden.
   
4. Creating one-off OCs intentionally designed to resemble a Kofling (whether you own one or not) is also forbidden.

(2) 🏡 Ownership 🏡

1. You may NOT delete the Kofling's toyhouse or create a new one. All the masterlist links are tied to that toyhouse profile, and its ownership log is important for keeping a record of value. Deleting a Kofling is a bannable offence. Please send me a screenshot if you are setting the Kofling to private so I know it's not been removed.
   
2. Once on the masterlist, Kofling designs cannot be changed in any significant manner without prior approval. Small, subtle changes are acceptable and excluded from this rule. Ear contents and source item can never be changed.
   
3. One owner may keep a maximum of 4 Koflings at once, to ensure everyone gets a fair chance to partake. This rule will be lifted once there are more Koflings in the community. Of course, you may trade/sell your current Kofs to make room for a new adopt or MYO at any time.

(3) 💸 Trading/selling 💸

Raffles/contests

1. Koflings won in raffles or contests may not be sold for any value or currency (only traded or gifted), unless it has been provided with additional art.
   
2. A Kofling created with a free MYO slot won in a raffle, once completed and approved, is considered to have the starting value of a regular MYO slot ($50).
   

Adopt auctions

3. Payment in installments (up to three parts) is accepted but must be indicated when bidding. In the instance where you are unable to pay the full price, no refunds for partial payments will be given - therefore ONLY bid if you know you will be able to pay.
   
4. Payment plans of up to 7 days are accepted but must be indicated when bidding. If you win the auction on this condition then fail to pay on the due date, you will be blacklisted from buying future adopts.
   

Marketplace

5. Koflings can be sold/traded for any value, regardless of amount of added art and initial sale price - the price is simply provided on masterlists to offer a rough idea of the Kofling's base worth.
   
6. When trading/selling a Kofling, please use the description box on the OC's ownership page to record what the sale was for e.g. $50 sale, trade worth $25 (this helps with verification for the masterlist and future buyers).
   
7. If you are not listed as the owner on the masterlist thread for your Kofling, you will be unable to sell or trade them. It is therefore crucial that this is kept up-to-date.
   
8. No refunds or compensation will be offered to people who purchase or trade for scam/stolen Koflings. Always check the masterlists before purchase.

(4) 🎨 Art use 🎨

1. I, Oakiel, reserve the right to use my own art of Koflings - including any part of reference sheet images - in any reasonable manner (such as for promotional Kofling materials or assets for the website pages). I will always make every effort to link back to your Kofling’s Toyhouse profile for credit.
   
2. Any art of the mascot, Ype (‘Burgie’) that you have consented to being displayed in his Toyhouse gallery may also be used for promotional or asset purposes. In this case, linked credit to your profile will be provided!
   
3. If you post my art of your Kofling (including their reference sheets) to any other sites, linked credit to either myself (on any site) is required. It would be great if you could tag/include/link to the species too, but this is not mandatory!
