ELYSIUM GROUP RULES
This group is intended for audiences 16 years of age or over, due to the subject manner at hand (violence, gambling, drugs, alcohol). Thank you for understanding.
Elysium is a chimereon-only rp space. Non-owners may join the group/discord to spectate and interact with the community, but please understand that only chams may be involved within the canon of the universe. Any users found guilt-tripping cham owners over owning a cham will be warned.
1. BE COOL
• No bigots, no exceptions. This goes without saying and doesn't need to be defined.
• Don't act passive aggressive or otherwise outright insulting to other users.
• This group is mainly English, but there is always the chance that English is not everyone's first/strongest language. be polite and understanding.
• Respect the privacy and humanity of other users. Drama-hounding and harassment of any sort is strongly discouraged and can lead to removal from the group.
2. DON'T BE WEIRD
• Don't be weird to people about rping. Don't force relationships with people when they're not comfy, don't make fun of people for their art/writing style, don't harass someone for taking their time to reply, etcetc. Please keep in mind that oc relationships are Not equivalent to what the owner of that oc actually thinks of you/your oc.
• ANYTHING regarding NSFW content/RP should be kept between adult members of the group, and only in DMs. If any adult is being weird and bringing NSFW content/RP to a minor/encouraging a minor to bring NSFW content/RP to them, they will be punished accordingly and reported to the cham mods. Please let Elysium mods know if this is occurring. Safety is our top priority.
• Drugs/alcohol and gambling have their part in Elysium, but are not and never will be glorified. Addiction is a very serious subject and we demand that it be taken seriously and respectfully.
- On a similar note, while chams in Elysium often have morally gray or villainous motives/personalities/actions, this is not something we endorse in the real world from real people. Maintaining that distinction remains of utmost importance to us.
In-RP Rules
In-RP rules are taken much less seriously, but letting your chams follow them is important to this little world we have! Rules do not mean you have to repress the type of personality that your cham has! Strike a balance with this! It's a lot more fun for everyone if you approach this with a sense of realism.
Elysium Rules
• The masquerade is above all else. Staff are trusted to act accordingly, as they are the face of Elysium and need to keep up the 'innocent but professional' vibe.
- Patrons have more leeway in regards to professionalism, but will obviously need to be dealt with if causing a ruckus.
- Patrons with VIP status and Business Partners have even more leeway in regards to professionalism, but are still not 100% free to disturb the peace.
• Lux and Apollo are at the highest level of authority, although Lux moreso. Anyone else is massively below them in rank.
• Security are allowed to use force when necessary, but anything excessive should be avoided unless a guest is providing a significant threat to another guest's life. Most of the time, it is best to restrain a guest rather than break their arm-- Less lawsuits.
• Doors to and within the basement are to be shut and locked tight at all times. Staff without clearance to the basement should avoid spending more time than necessary in the basement on the occasion that they are allowed inside.
• Once you enter Elysium, you are always under close watch. Theft and property damage are noticed, and compensation will be taken out of your paycheck. Double agents and those seeking to undermine Elysium's efforts will be dealt with accordingly. Watch your step.

• Just don't be a jerk and don't snitch, don't kill or hurt chams for no reason, no fash allowed. Live the PLUR lifestyle. Good vibes all around.
