Grodorian breed

History

Many years ago on the land called "Grodor" a god called "Life" created a living feline and canine creatures and gave them name "Grodorians". Life created them to share their confidence, they had the heart of a warrior - loyal, brave and protective. They always follow the rules because they think that only order can ensure chance of survive.

One day great warrior called Cerberus got Kosmos blessing, he became stronger than before. He always helped to protect his village from danger. Grodor isn't a friendly place to live and everywhere you can find dangerous animals, some Astrimals call them even monsters. Everyone loved Cerber for his great warrior heart, he would do everything to save everyone.

One night he had dreams whichwere warnings from Kosmos about that danger will come and destroy everything. Cerberus didn't know what does it mean exactly, he asked his childhood friend Runa for help, he wanted to became a dark magic master as soon as possible but this wasn't possible because Cerberus's strength relies on physical strength not magical one. Cerberus stole a scroll with a magic spell that allowed you to learn whole type of magic without trainings, it was a powerful scroll. Cerberus used his own demi-god blood to use this scroll spell because a demi-god's blood has magical properties. Everything worked fine, suddenly he heard that a big monster with its own army attack town and villages. Cerberus returned as fast as he could to the village and saw 5 meters high wolf, it was his old enemy called Fenrir. Fenrir's fur was made half from real fur and half from black smoke, Cerberus shapeshifted himself into 3 meters high three-headed wolf and attacked Fenrir by using his new magical powers. Cerberus won this fight and trapped Fenrir's soul into a crystal necklace. Everyone was celebrating the win, but something wasn't right. Cerberus since this day, he was hallucinating all the time, he always thought that Fenrir is still alive and become dangerous to others. One night he killed his lover because of hallucinating caused by wrong spelled magic from magic scroll. When he realised what he did, he turned into three-headed version and with tears in his eyes he killed everyone because he couldn't control himself anymore. Theres a one rule for demi-gods and this was ban on killing civilians by using demi-god's powers. Kosmos put a curse on Cerberus, he wasn't available to shapeshift in his 'normal' version anymore, he was a monster since that day.

Cerberus left village and nobody know where is he but everyone were scared of that they could met him in the wild. Atfer many years everyone think that Cerberus is a legend and non existing creature but some of villages think that he is still alive and the penalty of execution is carried out on the prisoners by banishing them from the village because some Astrimals think that Cerberus will find the prisoners and eat them.

Culture

Every Grodorian can learn any type of magic but actually most of them belives that the best weapon is your own body because it cannot cheat you like magic. They believe that magic can posses you like Cerberus did but ofcourse they won't be mad at you for using magic except Grodorians with extreme views. They always think that physical strenght is far difficult than magic thats why it is so respected. There is one exception from this rule, Grodorians highly respect Fire magic because it represents their warrior soul and they think fire is unpredictable, dangerous but also thanks to fire we are able to live, Grodorians compare fire to good warrior's heart.

One day a year Grodorians celebrate "Fire magic day" it is at the beginning of spring this is how they say goodbye to the winter even if Grodor never be covered in snow. They belive that special event will provide them a lot of food in spring and summer. During "Fire magic day" fire magic is stronger than usual so they use it in a fire shows whichlooks wonderful during the night. Grodorians always make Cerberus figure which is burning on the front of Village/Town to represent that magic may be dangerous if we want to become too powerful than it is possible and also to remember that creature can wander in the somewhere in Grodor. During "Fire magic day" everywhere you can find stalls with traditional food and handicrafts. On this day groups of friends or family spend time together by eating food, watching fire shows and talking about nice things.

Architecture

Their architecture looks scary for other nations but this isn't that scary as they think. The main structures are dark, grey, bloody red stone houses which have a lot of sharp edges and stones that are on the top of the roof, but these sharp stones can be also founded next to walls. Roofs of these houses are usually flat or protrudes slightly. Some walls are made out of special glass and lava flows in the middle of the it. For lightning source they use lava plants whichyou can find in caves, they are vines that grow on the wall. They use also lava which is bubbled in floating magic, it is a magic spell that is safe to use because these bubbles made out of magic aren't that easy to break. Inside of their houses you can find dark worktops made out of stone and ofcourse big pillows instead of bed but without a blanket because they live in warm region. Because of difficult acces to water, it is common to see a public bath where you can relax or clean yourself in hot water.

Grodorians can also live in some sort of caves and there are underground kingdoms with a large number of thin columns and long richly decorated bridges on lava, but it is very dangerous because of underground monsters so it is protected by magic barrier.

Canon of beauty

Grodorians love dark fur, especially the black and bloody red tones. They also find attractive muscular body with bigger front paws than back paws. Grodorians love fluffy mane and fur on neck, they think it is very pretty even if they live in lava biome and it can be too hot for someone with fluffy fur, but this fact won't stope them from adoring fluffy necks. Long and pointy goblin ears are in fashion too, they also love big claws and fangs. Grodorians think also the taller you are, the more attractive you are, maybe it is because of the fact that Grodorians are the biggest breed on Astra. The spiked bracelets, spiked collars and chains are also popular in this region, they find it as pretty because it suits them.

Habitat

In Grodor you can find a few different but simmiliar biomes but vibe of this place can be described as dark, creepy, hard to sruvive, red and brown and the air smells of sulfur. It is the most dangerous place to live because of high temperatures, volcanoes, dangerous animals and limited access to food.

The most common biome is a biome where everywhere you can find lava lakes and even under your paws you can feel flowing lava even if you're on the ground. Everything seems to be dark and sky looks like blood of your enemies because red mist floats everywhere. Next to the lava lakes are red glowing crystals, the crystals accumulate heat so it is often used to travels as "crystal of the warmth". There are many caves and canyons here, im deeper you go, the scarier it gets because there are easy to find dangerous animals which lurks in lava. Another biome that is in Grodor is a biome where everything is black and grey, full of ashes, there is nothing except grey sky and dirty ground. You can also find there burnt forests or trees that looks like dead but it's actually its natural look. It is possible to find rare fire fruit tree, it's bigger than other trees and red leaves grow on it, these fire fruits have hard shell but inside have spicy sweet fruit pulp. The only food except fire fruits to find are worms and beetles, they likes to be inside of the trees because it's natural shelter from predators. The other biome you can find there is a place where everywhere are tar and petroleum lakes. It easy to get stuck in these lakes because everything is in the same colour, it's almost like quicksand but made from oily liquid that can slowly kill you so there a lot of bones and skulls.

On the border between Grodor and Sholia, the vibe of this place changes, the sky is no longer red but mainly pink and sometimes blue, you can even find grass everywhere but it isn't green, the grass here is mainly red, yellow and orange, some of Grodorians describes it as fire grass because of its gradient. In these lands it's easier to find animals which are herbivore and even you can find fruits on trees. Lava is no longer a common thing here, instead of it, there are hot springs here, even geysers are easy to find. Except the hot springs here is also normal water but it is not that common.

Diet

They mainly eat meat, a lot of meat, it is that because in their habitat is more living creatures than actual plants. Grodorians grow muschrooms whichare accustomed to hot and not friendly habitat, they like to add them to mostly dishes. They also like to eat the big beetles in muschroom sauce, it is common to eat worms and other small living creatures. Sometimes they eat fire fruits that are rare to find, they are delicious and Grodorians like to making out of them desserts or jams, they also like to add these fruits to meat dishes and even make juice of it. Grodorians use also other fruits from distant lands between Grodor and Sholia or buy from other nations vegetables, herbs and other tasty things or they sell meat from Grodorian's animals.

Health

Grodorians can have joint problems due to their large body mass especially the big ones (wolves,lions,etc...), they can also have problems with the overgrowth of teeth and claws, it can lead to faster tooth loss or paw damage. These health problems doesn't mean that every Grodorian has these problems but these are the most common diseases. When they're outside the Grodor and Sholia they often catches a cold.
