History: Obe lived a mostly normal sweeper life. A life of carefree, loud, eat anything you want, fun. When she was 18, a caravan came to town. There was a particular craftsman with this caravan. He was looking for a new place to open a brewery. He bought a place and set-up shop. She initially applied to work there as a barmaid. One thing led to another and they married. This displeased his family greatly because they are racist assholes. 

After 20 years of marriage, her husband met an untimely and suspicious death. Obe feels as though his family played some part in it, but does not have the resources to prove it. They tried to get the brewery from her when he died, but she refused to give it away. It's all she has left of him and will protect it with her life. She is also a bit spiteful and enjoys the annoyance it gives them.

Obe and her husband tried to have kids but were never could succeed. While at first she was sad about it, she's grown to accept it. She has nieces and nephews, so she can get her kid fix from them. She also has become a mother hen of sorts to the younger durgs who wander into the city looking for help. She'll take them under her wing, give them a job, teach them life skills, and help them move onto bigger things when they are ready.

She is ok with being the Mom Friend. She usually likes it, but gets annoyed when you ignore the advice you asked for. She also will get disappointed with you, but it lasts for a brief moment then she pours you a drink. 

Obe was out in the forest one day looking for new fruits to infuse in her ales when she heard the roar of the local <insert creature being developed here>. She's been in this area before and was always prepared to deal with the <creature> should she encounter it. She also heard the screams of at least 2 individuals. She dropped her basket and ran to try and save the endangered durgs. 

She successfully chased off the <creature> and tended to Alinea and Asterix's wounds, and then promptly scolded them for being in the area when they should have seen the signs on the trees warning that this was the <creature's> home. She brought the crafter and fisher back to their homes. They would later leave their homes to come to the city the brewery was in to become apprentices and to be near their savior and friend.

Obe would eventually meet Ampersand and Ellipsis when Asterix and Alinea brought them to the brewery after finding them half starved by the river.
