Profile

Physical Appearance

  • Long light purple hair, some of which he ties back into a small side ponytail
  • Horse tail matches his purple hair
  • Green eyes
  • Tattoo under left eye that combines the Equistic symbols for "guided" and "bow"
  • Does not have any piercings and usually wears 5 ear cuffs, one of which connects to his headband
  • Fair skinned, almost completely white
  • Medium height (for a centaur)
  • Physically fit with lean and agile build
  • White hair coat on horse half
  • Horse half resembles a white Arabian horse

Other people that witness him running through the forest often mistake him for a spirit by how quickly and smoothly he moves and how ghostly his appearance is. Sometimes while in his presence he appears somewhat illuminated/radiant in what light can penetrate the forest canopy.

Clothing Style

Trevor tends to wear lighter colors, almost exlusively white and silver, although he does have a few green garments. The outfit he is most commonly seen in is a white/silvery top that has silver trim along the bottom with Equistic symbols embroidered into it. He also wears white/silver leather gloves that have green armbands tied at the ends at elbow level. The gloves have silver markings on the backs of the hands, and the main section is fingerless while the inner silver sleeves act as fingerless gloves. Trevor commonly wears a short green cloak when traveling, and he also wears three light leather belts across his chest and around his waist to hold his quiver. He also sometimes wears silver/white leather shoulderpads when out and about, although his cloak usually covers them.

Trevor wears a silver headband to hold up some of his bangs, and her also has a silver hair tie to gather some of his hair into a side ponytail, although it still blends in with the rest of his hair. His earrings are all silver.

Personality

Trevor is a mellow, optimistic, and whimsical master archer whose origins and true identity are a mystery, perhaps even to him as well. Those who are fortunate enough to even encounter him know him to be a rather elusive and aloof, yet he is always very calm and a bit soft spoken. His manner of speech is very smooth and eloquent, and while he can be lightly teasing with his close friends, he usually tends to have a calming quality to his voice, which makes others perceive him even more otherworldly than he already seems. His graceful and serene demeanor and movements have caused many people that witness him to believe he is a spirit or deity of the forest in mortal form. Although he tends to avoid interacting with new people when possible, he has a selfless nature and is protective of those he bonds with.

Trevor is a down to earth and compassionate man, although he comes off as rather quirky as well. He has a vast love for nature and life, and he never takes a life to survive without properly thanking it for its sacrifice and offering his blessings to the freed spirit. When defending himself or others, he is a skilled archer without match, yet he always feels remorse for needing to harm or kill another. Trevor believes that everything can be solved without violence, but he acknowledges not everyone can be cooperative and that his thoughts are rather idealistic. He tries not to let this keep him down though, and he can be thoroughly optimistic through any adversity. He doesn't feel very comfortable in crowded or overly loud/social environments, and he'd prefer to be alone if given the option, unless he also has the option to be in the company of those closest to him. He's a very loyal friend and is always willing to offer his support or an open ear if needed.

Abilities

  • Ayr rifting - rank 4/5
  • Seems to have an almost ethereal presence in the forest and is as quick and elusive as a spirit
  • Appears to be capable of channeling his will into others to guide or calm them

Strengths

  • Compassionate, selfless, and optimistic
  • Graceful, serene, easy to approach, and a good listener and mentor
  • Agile, extremely difficult to track or follow, and never seems to miss with his arrows
  • Respectful, reliable, and responsible

Weaknesses

  • Quiet, rarely asserts himself over others, and non-confrontational
  • Aloof, doesn't seem to know much about his past or purpose, and tends to have his head in the clouds
  • A bit too whimsical and quirky at times and can be rather eccentric and hard to fully understand
  • Hesitates to resort to violence and would rather be idealistic than realistic at times

Backstory

Trevor has no memory of his early past and lived alone in the forests of Arkabor for as long as he could remember. He would often need to avoid the numerous tribes of centaur while traveling, none of which he belonged to, until he came across Dalton Lyveil and became friends with him. He entered the Dyveil tribe when Dalton and his family offered to take him in. However, Dalton's parents were killed in a skirmish with a rivaling tribe soon after. Dalton took it upon himself to mentor Trevor alone, although the tribe as a whole was very accepting and nurturing with the new addition. Trevor and Dalton became close as brothers, and Trevor would often serve as his right hand man during tribe conflicts.

Trevor was uncertain why he already had mastery over the bow despite not recalling how he came to learn archery. Quite a few other tribe members theorized Trevor was the embodiment of the Spirit of the Forest, a being thought to walk the earth as a white horse. Trevor was doubtful about the claims, but he was pleased that his presence gave his tribe hope since they believed he brought them good fortune.

Trevor took it upon himself to mentor Dalton's son, Gage, who proved to be a prodigy with a bow. When a civil conflict broke out within the tribe over Gage bringing the wrath of the Enlightened to them, Trevor managed to get Gage away from the fight and to the Warp Gate connecting Onakaiya to Emdrica. He passed his bow and his blessing on to Gage before dying of wounds sustained during the battle. Gage to this day believes Trevor is watching over him and guides his shots.

Trivia:

  • Trevor's general design is based off the Centaur card from Lost Kingdoms II. This card featured a centaur with purple hair, a white horse body, and an attack that consisted of shooting off arrows straight ahead.
  • The name "Trevor Xirdneh" comes from me looking through my elementary yearbook and picking "Trevor" from another kid in my grade and spelling the last name "Hendrix" backwards since it was the last name of one of my close friends during that grade.
