fun fact one of the biggest idk, healing moments for angel is he actually holds a memorial service for everyone he was forced to kill
He buries his armor, he has remembered the “name” of every errant trooper he has executed
Makes a memorial for them somewhere, somewhere remote idk where. has a private (only him) ceremony, angel is very reverent regarding the dead? he was VERY strict about following protocol and handling bodies as respectfully as possible after uh...he had to do his thing. then afterwards he kind of goes on a soul searching spiritual journey, talks to old folks who have studied the force about death, where people go after they die, if the force frees those who were forced to obey
he gets very, very very in depth about it. he never really finds peace or forgiveness but he tries to find answers, i guess
He begins to smile more when hes free from all of [waves hands in the direction of the first order] that

fedony hires him as a bodyguard but he only incapacitates people, like batman
he also keeps his laser axe, but only because its a very good tool for cutting things (and jumpstarting old speeders) HE FEELS WEIRD BC HE HAS USED IT TO KILL BUT...idk i feel like he preferred using his blaster bc it was cleaner anyway. he mostly kept his laser axe set to stun

FIRST ORDER IS VERY BAD THATS THE POINT OF THIS CHARACTER...brainwash a literal 4 year old kid kid into becoming a goddamn executioner of course thats gonna fuck someone up
really really hoping that lucasfilm does what ive wanted for 5 years and has Finn lead a stomtrooper revolution against the first order leadership
Bc if that happens i imagine angels called to like, idk, kill troopers who are rebelling and angel just TURNS on the officers ordering him to kill
and they have no chance bc they trained this man to be brutally efficient

fedony digs up the name and location of his home planet and settlement. its in bad shape, but still there angel returns, met with fear from the locals. they ask him, angrily “are you here to steal more of our children?” and angel closes his eyes , opens them, and responds “I was one of your children.”
HE GETS HUGGED BY LIKE AN ENTIRE GODDAMN VILLAGE OK
NOBODY KNOWS WHO HIS MOTHER OR FATHER IS. NOBODY KNOWS IF EITHER WAS EVEN STILL WITH THEM. BUT REGARDLESS, EVERY MEMBER OF THE VILLAGE EMBRACED ANGEL AS IF HE WERE THEIR OWN LOST SON
