Damion Darkwing

Physical Appearance

• Long purple hair that trails past shoulders with longer framing bangs, especially on right side
• Purple eyes with black sclera
• Fair skinned on the pale side
• Tall in height
• Physically fit with a slender build and inhuman strength
• Usually looks relatively human (aside from the strange hair and eyes), but he normally has the following traits:
  • One black leathery wing on right side
  • One golden feathered wing on left side
  • Somewhat enlarged left hand with dragon-like claws
  • Purple scaled tail with large spikes
• When in non-physical form, he appears as simply a being of light and darkness

Clothing Style

Damion wears rather dark and mildly goth style clothing, usually wearing trench coats with belted embellishments. He most commonly wears a black trench coat with a white collar and a purple brooch. The jacket has gold plated straps that fasten it closed, and there are belts with gold plates on his arms just below the elbows. He also wears a black sleeveless shirt and black pants with either simple black boots or knee high boots with multi belted straps. He has two belts around his hips and one around his leg, and he wears purple fingerless gloves that only connect to the middle fingers by a gold ring.

Personality

Damion is the eccentric and mysterious Elemental deity of both Chronos and Darclyte elements. He seems to have a very mellow and relaxed demeanor and is generally friendly and easy to approach when in his mortal form. Most people who know his mortal form don't typically understand what exactly he is or what he is fully capable of, but he is seen as calm, collected, and very wise from his many experiences. He comes off as very zen and quirky on a personal level since he tends to talk in a playful or lightly teasing manner while often throwing a lot of odd metaphors into his phrases. Regardless, he comes off as polite and respectful, and he tends to be supportive and nurturing of the people around him. Although he does not physically look very old, he tends to treat others as endearing children sometimes and is very doting and encouraging toward others' efforts and passions. Damion is often hard to fully understand and usually seems somewhat daydreamy and not entirely present in most situations he's in, and he always seems to be either traveling or incredibly sleepy when he's in his hometown. For that reason, a lot of people who know him on a personal level from his hometown see him as somewhat lazy or constantly taking naps, but he is known to be responsible and ever punctual despite his demeanor.

• Fluent in basically every language of the Eternity, since he's had plenty of time to learn them all

Weaknesses

• A bit absent-minded when idle and tends to nap too much (usually in the middle of conversations)
• Due to his power over time, his mind tends to be focused on many different events at once
• Eccentric, a bit too whimsical, and usually irritates/exasperates serious people (usually Darian) with his light hearted demeanor
• Has too many commitments and is always on the move, therefore hard to get ahold of at times

Backstory

Damion was created along with the other Elements of the Eternity as the mover of time. With Kiama at Lord Dalia's right and Damion at his left, they watched over the God of Creation as he crafted the world. When Yashana's doppleganger threatened the Eternity, Damion fought alongside Dalia's forces until she was defeated. They continued their duties as the Chronos Element and carrying out Lord Dalia's will, and they were later appointed the power of being the Darclyte Element when Lord Dalia crafted the Darclyte race.

Millennia passed until the threat of Shana’s ressurrection loomed, and the Black Drayconen selected a new host, a Darclyte prince that had yet to be born. Damion and Lord Dalia decided it would be best for someone to watch over him since Shana had always pined for the Black Drayconen's power, yet the Darclytes would not allow any outsiders into their realm. Lord Dalia allowed Damion to be born "mortal" as a Darclyte, and he was born as Damidra Darkwing, the twin brother of Dramida Darkwing. Damion split his time watching over his brother, who eventually took on the name Darian, and continuing his work for Lord Dalia, and with his power over time he had little issue with it. The secondary purpose of Damion's mortal coil was to house the Black Drayconen's power until Darian was ready to handle it fully. Since the Black Drayconen required a physical host to properly align himself with the Eternity, Damion served as a temporary host and would gradually transfer this power over to Darian as he grew older and stronger.

When the Demriles attacked Damidrakai to capture Darian, Damion took him and escaped to Taliac. The two currently live in a secret rifter community, and Damion trains his brother to be prepared for whatever his destiny may have in store for him.
