About

Objective • Mysterious • Harsh • Playful • Utilitarian.

Sylvia is the youngest and the wildest of the Smokeheart noble family, and it shows. An assassin by the name of the Arcane Saboteur, she flits from rooftop to rooftop doing her jobs, day in, day out. So what if her mother doesn't know? It's not like she's going to be the heir to the title anyway. And besides, even if she does butt heads with her older brother on the subject - someone has to take out the trash, don't they?

Summary

The youngest daughter of the prestigious wolf kemonomimi family, the Smokehearts, Sylvia was overprotectively nurtured for most of her youth. Until, of course, she said enough was enough, and opted to join an underground criminal ring without them knowing to be trained in the ways of the assassin.

Most youth her age would have been gravely injured or even died from the trials they put her through, but Sylvia pulled it through until the end, eventually landing the formidable title of the Arcane Saboteur, whispered across the community. Her potential for magic allowed her to utilize it in her work to mask herself in the shadows and even attack by manifesting them into solid, bramble-like tentacles, as damaging as whips.

Despite all this, Sylvia is a utilitarian, choosing her work to benefit the pleasure of all by taking out the weak, or those who would corrupt the peace of the majority, much to the disdain of Fenrir. In her life outside of crime, she pines for her half-brother - sent to a Sanctuary to be taught 'the ways of the light'. She knows full well inside, however, that what happened to send him there was her fault - an accident she just quite wasn't able to cover up.

Design

• Please draw her in her assassin outfit! (It's the one that says 'Default Outfit' on it!)

Trivia

• Fenrir was sent to the Sanctuary to protect him because rumours had spread that a nearby assassination had something to do with him. This was actually one of Sylvia's jobs, and thus, her fault. Fenrir himself is unaware of this.

• She likes to leave a joker card behind on her assassinations, to 'leave her mark'.

• Despite frequently bickering with her brother, she cares for him and would protect him, if things came to that.

• Her preferred weapon is the dagger - she has an array of six she keeps with her.

Skye (WIP, his OU is not up yet)

Sylvia's older half-brother. He hates to fight, but she doesn't really get it. Isn't it thrilling, feeling like you're in power, for once? Although, she suppose he wouldn't get the feeling, considering he's destined to get the house title and all. Oh well!

Fenrir

Despite being half-brother and half-sister, Fenrir and Sylvia are polar opposites. Fenrir treads the path of the light, while Sylvia treads the path of the dark, with many outsiders seeing them as choosing the opposite path at first glance due to their respective histories. Their differences even spread to their philosophies, with Fenrir preferring deontology, and Sylvia preferring utilitarianism. Furthermore, Fenrir and Sylvia's relationship is complicated as best, if not unusually tense. Fenrir still holds some amount of mixed distrust and love at the event that stained his career forever, for the most part, and wishes his sister would abandon the life she's chosen. Sylvia, in the meanwhile, remains a trickster at heart, helping her brother when she deems it necessary, and sometimes beyond that - perhaps feeling an amount of guilt at the event in the past. Interestingly, blood still seems to run thicker than water, and Fenrir and Sylvia will find themselves at each others side - only when the other truly needs them the most.
