Bangur

• He's a pretty big dude. He's 6'2, and all muscle. Despite it, he's a huge softy. 
• Stripes don't need to be exact. 
• He's a bit of a jack of all trades. While his strength and charisma are his strongest assets- he knows a little bit of everything, due to taking care of himself and others a lot. 

Bangur is a well spoken, charming tiger with a love of seeing others smile. He made a lot of mistakes in his past, but has had a lot of time to think and recover from his own vices. He chooses to use what he's learned in his life to make others happy and support them in their own paths to discovering themselves and finding peace. He's quite wise, and always seems to have advice for those who need it. He can always be counted on to be a port in the storm, and have an ear to listen. He knows how to do a lot of things, and believes in sharing his wisdom with others if they want it.

He firmly believes everyone deserves a safe place and deserves to be happy, and seeks to create a business that can create that as much as possible. He runs his club with the utmost care to try and ensure everyone is having a good time. He is resourceful, adaptable, and can usually find a way to calm even the most extreme of situations without any aggression.  He believes in equality and peace, and is always openminded to others and hearing their stories.

He always seeks to make himself a better person, and is never above apologizing if necessary.

However, don't be fooled. He may come across as a gentle giant- and while he's definitely a softy who'd prefer not to hurt anyone, if truly provoked or threatened, he's got the right hook of a brute and he won't hesitate to retaliate if he or someone innocent is in harms way.

He's street smart, and practical smart, but definitely not book smart. He's not an avid reader, and numbers tend to overwhelm him. He's not really interested in politics or economics, and beyond necessary prefers to leave those things to his accountant. 

He tends to be very good at reading people, and can typically quickly tell the vibe of someone just from hanging around them for a bit. It makes for a convenient way to tell who needs a bit of extra attention (if they're upset and need an ear) or who's at risk of causing a fuss. It's a skill that's served him well over the years.

While a good guy, he can sometimes be too nosy for his own good, and sometimes his past rears its ugly head when old "friends" decide to visit. He can sometimes become overbearing if he feels like you need a friend, and can get a bit pushy in trying to make sure you're okay. (Though, if told to leave, he'll always listen, of course) . He can also get occasionally naggy towards those he sees making mistakes repeatedly or not taking care of themselves. Especially ones that are potentially harmful in the long run. 

Bangur was a former criminal working under a gang in his home town. Through this, he learned a lot about the criminal underground, how to defend himself, and definitely- learning who he could trust and who was worth trusting. He started as a tiny scrap of a cub barely able to keep up, and evolved as he aged into a massive enforcer who acted as the main threat of violence for his group. While he never fell as far as actually fatally harming anyone, he definitely hurt plenty of people who deserved it and never thought much of it at the time. He ran the roads with awful people for a long time, but eventually that came to an end.

He hit a realization when told to hurt someone truly innocent, and refused, forcing his ejection from his gang. Left alone, separated from the life he knew so well and the few "friends" he had, he was forced to reflect on what he wanted and how to better himself. He set about trying to rectify his past, making amends and offering support to those who had met the brunt side of his gang's orders in the past. He apologized, and tried to fix what he could, and decided to seek out becoming a better person. He knew a lot of skills (plenty of time on the streets would teach you that) but had a hard time finding a job due to the fact that he didn't have much official schooling or in the way of real career experience. Eventually, he was forced to succumb into using his size and strength once again, becoming a bouncer at one of the local night clubs....

...And he detested it. Spurning people away based on such arbitrary things as their look didn't feel like the right thing to do. He saved up money, called in a few favors from old friends, and bought an old run down building on a small private beach. It was in shambles, the beach was messy, but Bangur wasn't intimidated. He was a hard worker, so he set about making it his own, and making a place people could be happy and safe.

He made his mistakes in his past, and he acknowledges them. He can't change who he'd been before, but he can be someone better now.
