Haneul Namgung

An idol wannabe who's very good at pretending she's as gifted as the musical artist she aspires to be. Her eyeliner always comes out right.

     Appearance 

She's 163cm tall with fair skin and east asian features; she has black straight hair and monolid black eyes. Her nose is somewhat longer than average, but it doesn't make her face look too long. Her frame is pretty skinny, she's fit and has decent curves. Her hair is a very short bowlcut with an undercut, and it has been dyed silver except for the undercut and one lock on her straight fringe. She styles the sides of her hair up.

She's always seen in makeup in public. She doesn't overdo it in casual situations, but goes all out whenever she should. She tends to wear black clothing, silver accents and blue as a second favorite color. She seems to have a fixed color combination, but she isn't afraid of mixing colors and trying new things.

     Personality 

To the public eye, she's an elegant but jovial woman, one who 'does everything right' and is patient and kind despite her cold appearance.

To her acquaintances, she has a more judgey vibe and doesn't seem like her patience is as eternal as her public image.

But it's just a vibe. In fact, she is very jovial and elegant, but she's also very prideful and stubborn, she could even be noisy but she tries not to be conflictive. She's very confident in many things, even the things she doesn't do very well, and she's convinced that if someone proposes it to themselves, they can achieve anything they want to do. She believes this for herself and for others, and this leads her to push other people into doing things, be a bit of a leader and accidentally nosy. 

She isn't a liar among her acquaintances but she is very pretentious in many ways, even if she doesn't realize it. She constantly feels like others have better things than her, and she constantly tries to achieve this fabricated standard, out of envy and pride. Maybe it's because others feel so happy...

If she didn't let herself go by her pride and envy, she'd take much better decisions.

     Powers/Skills 

Her most notable skills are acting and makeup, as well as good fashion sense.

     Backstory 

Hace dos años había probado suerte en un programa de idols durante el verano en Corea solo para ser rechazada. Sin embargo, ella tiene sus consuelos:

• Nunca va a ser mas desgraciada que su hermanastro

• Tiene una hermana menor que la admira

• Siempre le sale el eyeliner bien

Esas cosas le dan el impulso de hacer lo que ella quiere hacer.

Nacio en Corea y vivio ahi muy poco tiempo durante su infancia; su madre, japonesa, habia trabajado y vivido en Corea unos 5 años hasta que tuvo una oferta de trabajo de vuelta en Japon. Su padre es coreano, y no tenía la facilidad de viajar a Japon tambien, y añadiendole otros factores mas humanos, ambos decidieron divorciarse cuando Haneul tenia 2 años.

En Japon, su madre se enamoro de un hombre extranjero que ya tenia un hijo, a penas unos meses mayor que Haneul. Y muy poco despues, nacio una hermana en comun.

Esa hermana en comun era la bebe mejor portada que Haneul habia visto. Mientras crecian tenian una que otra discusion, pero siempre se han llevado muy bien.

Haneul a penas tuvo contacto con su padre durante su infancia. Siempre tuvo las puertas abiertas y viajo un par de veces a Corea, pero era muy pequeña y no valoraba realmente el lugar.

Cuando crecio, estudio toda su vida en Japon, pero ciertos veranos iba a Corea a pasar el rato. Siempre prefirio ir a Europa o Estados Unidos pero nunca le daban la oportunidad. Sin embargo, no le molestaba Corea. Y ahi fue donde descubrio el programa de idols e intento su suerte… Para nada.

Se deprimio un poco, pero su hermana menor aun la apoyaba y eso la ayudo mucho. Ambas decidieron un dia, cuando su hermana cumplio los 14, que cometerian una locura de momento y se teñirian el cabello. Haneul decidio hacerse un corte nuevo y todo, bastante llamativo y casi como un acto de rebeldia. Sabia que no le sentaria muy bien a sus mayores, pero cuando llego a casa fue recibida con bastantes elogios. Se veia muy elegante.

Asi que asi, manteniendo ese look, se lleno de confianza. Era lo que necesitaba, ya era suficientemente terca como para no rendirse, asi que ahora esta buscando debutar en alguna otra parte, en lo que termina su año escolar.

     Other 

• She doesn't like her name, she wants to change it when she becomes a popular artist. In the meantime, she likes it when people shorten her name, she doesn't like to write it as it is, but accepts it when necessary.
• Her personal accounts have been deleted and/or hid from the public since she started the current idol program. 
• She likes mobile apps but doesn't know a thing of technology.
• Her favorite color is silver.
• No matter what she sings, whether it sounds good or bad, japanese or korean, will sound like k-pop voice.
• For some reason she thinks she can go to Eurovision one day.
• She has a lot of voice potential! She's just out of tune and rhythm, nothing she can't improve. She just doesn't very much because she's afraid she'll be a fool in front of others. She must be cool at all times!
• Genuinely tries to be patient, but her stepbrother wasted a good chunk of her patience growing up.
