Atticus was a bounty hunter, and a fairly good one, too - that is, until he accidentally befriended one of his targets.He'd been told to go after the dog named Data, for what reason he had no idea, but he didn't always know. When he caught up to the dog, Data surprised him. Instead of being scared or trying to fight him off, Data merely shook his paw and introduced himself. Somehow, strangely, the two talked for a bit and slowly became friends.

Since he'd failed his job, and become friends with the guy he was supposed to capture, Atticus ended up retiring. Nowadays he helps out Data with random schemes, none of which end well, but they're fun anyway.

 He's one of the Wayfarers, so he often travels through the paintings he creates. He does this to keep up with Data, who tends to go traveling very often. Data's far younger, as well, so it's hard sometimes for Atticus to keep up. He's getting older, though it's hard to tell through his quiet enthusiasm.

Atticus's favorite pasttime is origami, which he really enjoys and finds relaxing after a long day. Or during a long day. He's often folding a paper something in the midst of chaos, and if anyone asks why he does it, he gives a sly smile and an answer that doesn't really answer the question at all. Truth is, he feels a bit awkward about his origami hobby, and would much prefer people to think there's some dark, important reason behind it... than the actual truth.
