Hayle's greatest flaw is her self-indulgence. While she wants to make everyone happy around her, she often finds her motives becoming selfish and childish. This problem is only aggravated by her messy and childish nature which prompts her to just drop things and walk away when things get too hard. She is always heartbroken when she hears that she has let anyone down due to her selfishness.
Hayle's optimism knows no bounds. She firmly believes that there is always a happy ending for everyone and that they can all achieve it, no matter how impossible it all seems. Most, if not all, her friends rely on this determined optimism as a source of strength when they cannot find it themselves.

Hayle will take her cyborg hand off and give it to people when they ask her to give them a hand with something.
She sews most of her own clothes.
When faced with conflict, Hayle will often try to disfuse the situation by jokes and talking her way out of it, but when that doesn't work, she'll hide from the source of conflict.
Hayle doesn't deal with the concept of death well, and tries to avoid thinking about it as much as possible.
Hayle admires wisdom more than ambition in others because she doesn't think of herself as a wise person.

Rane Leothin
Hayle has known Rane for as long as she can remember. First they were neighbors, who quickly became best friends. Then when Rane's parents were killed, Hayle's aunt took Rane in and they're been almost inseperable ever since.
Eram Talis
While their personalities are in stark contrast to one another, they have similar views on how they percieve themselves, and have formed a strong bond based on that. Hayle loves that she has someone around who can keep up with her amount of energy, and will joke with her.
Auntie
A wonderful woman who took Hayle in after she found her abandoned on the side of the road, and raised her with the patience of a saint. She never let Hayle say that she couldn't do things because of her missing limb, and encouraged Hayle's myriad of interests.
