A friend of Mark and Deimos who let's them stay with him when they're nearby (as the two are wanderers). Also a partaker in magic, he has a bigger stake in keeping the two well hidden as well... Of course, eventual drama ensues, but they're still fairly close friends despite it all.
When Deimos first was brought to him by Mark, after some prodding, he found out Deimos's situation and almost instantly started raising hell, wandering just what Mark was thinking, not only traveling with someone wanted by Them, bringing him to his own house! After some drama, he warms up to Deimos quick enough, apologizing for how he'd acted upon his arrival and agreeing to help keep them hidden when they came by, but warning them there was only so much he could do.
A big softie, he has a tough time turning down a friend, making it very easy for Mark to get his way when he really wants something, but even he has his limits and can, generally, see whether or not logic is actually applicable to Mark's schemes.
After Mark's Serious Drama(tm), he is literally ready to kill the guy that did that to Mark, but, and only because of Mark's begging, does he not go through with it. Not to mention if he did, he would've been put on the same list Deimos had ended up on and who knows when he'd get caught.
